Summary: The passage in Matthew 25:14-30 is about the parable of the talents and how the Lord gave his servants different amounts of talents according to their abilities. The servants who invested and gained more talents were rewarded by the Lord, while the one who buried his talent was punished. The speaker believes that the Church today has become numb and lacks important biblical teachings that are necessary for revival and effectiveness in spreading the gospel. He mentions that the Church has stopped talking about certain doctrines, such as the doctrine of hell, which is essential for having a passion for God. He emphasizes the importance of understanding that there is a dimension after death where souls will go and that it is a place devoid of God's grace. He believes that humanity needs to know about the bad things, such as the fear of punishment, in order to understand the consequences of their actions.

The doctrine of the second coming of Jesus Christ has been stolen from us, and pastors have lost enthusiasm for preaching about it. However, it is important to maintain this doctrine as an emergency modality because Christ can come at any time, and we must live as if he is coming tomorrow. The church has a responsibility to preach the gospel and warn people about what is going to happen, and each individual Christian must use their talents and gifts for the kingdom of God. There are many signs that point towards the second coming, such as earthquakes, famines, and moral decay. It is important to be vigilant and prepared for Christ's return because no one knows the day or hour. God does not want anyone to be lost, and salvation is available through receiving Christ as Lord and Savior.

The speaker discusses the importance of the church retaining a sense of urgency and preaching about the doctrines of the second coming, hell, and heavenly glory. He emphasizes that everyone has been given talents by God to advance the kingdom of God, and that each person will have to account for what they did with those talents when the Lord Jesus Christ comes again. The speaker urges the church to wake up and go back to the old paths, and gives an example of some church members who are investing their time and resources in mission work.

The speaker encourages the church to wake up and be passionate about God, to be radical and committed to the Kingdom of God. He calls for a rejection of lukewarmness, comfort, and false religiosity, and a renewed commitment to living for God. He prays for God to visit and revive the church, to awaken a holy fire and passion for souls. He calls for a return to simple truths and a rejection of cheapening the gospel. He prays for a revival in New England and throughout the nation, for God to take back possession of His pulpits and institutions. The speaker urges the church to put on the full armor of the spirit and conquer the nations for Jesus Christ.

I want to invite you now to go to the word of the Lord. There is a passage that has been there touching my spirit and I want to share it with you. It's actually more of a theme, a theme, and there are different ways we could approach it, actually, I'm going to go to the 25th chapter of Matthew, starting with verse 14, but I'm actually going to go back to some earlier texts as well. to that one, because it's all part of a big speech that the Lord gave around the same topic and it has to do with us and our commitment to God. Matthew 25.14: "For the kingdom of heaven is like a man, who going far away called his deer and gave them his possessions, to one he gave 5 talents", let's say he gave 1000 dollars, something like that, and to another two, he gave them 200 or 300 dollars, 400 dollars- ....and to another one, -let's say 100 dollars-. To each according to his ability. And then he went away and the one who had received 5 talents went and traded with them, and he gained another 5 talents. Likewise, the one who had received 2 also gained another two, but the one who had received only one went and dug in the ground and hid his Lord's money, putting it under the mattress as they said around there, right? After a long time, the Lord of those deer came and settled accounts with them, and coming to the one who had received 5 talents, he brought another 5 talents saying: “Lord, you gave me 500 dollars and here you go, I have earned another 500 dollars on what you gave me. ", verse 21, the Lord said to him: "Well done, good and faithful deer, you have been faithful over a little, I will make you over much, enter into the joy of your Lord." Arriving also the one who had received two talents said: "Lord, two talents you gave me, here you have another two talents on them", his Lord said to him: "Well, good and faithful deer, you have been faithful over a little, over much I will put you, enter into the joy of your Lord.” But the one who had received one talent also arrived, those 100 dollars, and said: “Lord, I knew you are a hard man who reaps where you did not sow and gathers where you did not scatter, so I was afraid and went and hid your talent in the ground. . Here's what's yours." Responding to his Lord, he said to him: "Evil and negligent deer, you knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I did not scatter, therefore, you should have given my money to the bankers, and when I came, I would have received what is mine with interest." . So take away the talent and give it to the one who has 10 talents, because to the one who has will be given and will have more, and from the one who does not yet have what he has will be taken away. And throw the useless deer into the outer darkness, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." The Lord bless his holy word, amen. Hey, one second, Sam, come here quickly, excuse me one second brothers. Well brothers, what I want to tell you, there is something in this text that is more like an instinct there that I have of... something that the Lord has been speaking to me these days precisely around seeking revival in our lives, of having a greater commitment with the Lord and I feel that these things have to be remembered from time to time, and especially that there are people who have recently met the Lord and we all want to be unified in the same way of thinking. The Lord told this parable in connection with a theme he had been developing about his second coming. And if you look at the previous verses, you're going to notice that it all revolves around two things: number one, the second coming of the Lord, and just in case there are any who don't understand what this is about the second coming because they don't You are very familiar with this evangelical, biblical language, it clearly refers to the first coming of Jesus Christ, it was when he came in the form of a man and developed his ministry here on earth and after that there are many passages in scripture that tell us that there will be a second time that the Lord will come. No longer in the humble way, in the human and limited way in which he came the first time to announce God's desire to have a relationship with humanity and to establish himself through his death as the intermediary between God and men, but instead , at his second coming the Lord will come already in his glorified form. No longer with the human limits with which he came previously, but in all his glory, in all his appearance of God, in all his royalty, in all his authority and his dominion, and he will come not as that meek lamb of which we spoke here that was left immolate and who climbed to the cross to be abused and crucified, but he will come as a conqueror and will also come as a judge. And the Jesus that John saw in the book of Revelation in chapter 3, is a very different Jesus than the Jesus who walked on Galilee, he is a terrible looking Jesus, than when John Seeing him with his brilliant white hair, his fiery eyes, his sword-like tongue, and his entire being shining with an extraordinary light, Juan melted and fainted from how terrible his appearance was. And that side of Jesus, a lot of times the church doesn't tend to focus on that as much. I have been reading a lot, and I have been sharing this on several occasions that I have been preaching lately about the gospel in the 18th century here in the United States and in the 19th century and I have been reading the writings of Jonathan Edwards, and Charles and John Wessley, and lately I've been reading the writings of Charles Finney in the 19th century and we are heirs to that gospel, but there has been an evolution in the world about the preaching of the gospel , and today, I fear that many times a gospel is preached so superficial, so soft, so lacking in the biblical nutrients that has been created, I create a false impression of security in the church and a false impression of security even in the world, because the church has stopped announcing certain elements of the word of God that are important. God has not changed his thinking, he has not changed his way of thinking, he is the same yesterday, today forever and the requirements of the Christian life today are the same as they were ago 200, 300 years, and I believe that the church of Jesus Christ has been impoverished by leaving aside certain doctrines that are very important for our encouragement and our effectiveness. I believe that part of the problem, or at least part of the problem of this society, which has moved further and further away from Christian teachings, is as a consequence of the cooling off of the Church of Jesus Christ, as a consequence of the fact that we have become let us numb and we have a truncated gospel, a cut gospel that lacks much of the nutrients of the word of God. Today we don't talk about certain things that are necessary to have that fire, that passion for God that can melt the soul of the unsaved and give the church the authority and power that the church needs to announce an effective gospel, a gospel that touches hearts, a gospel that challenges souls. What we are selling to people is actually canned food and we have to go back to those teachings that these great men and women of God in the 18th century even before that, the reformation. Martin Luther, when he preached in the 16th century, was part of a whole generation of men who were tired of the religiosity into which Christianity had sunk in Europe and they fanned the fire of God and as a consequence of that great reform came an awakening in all of Europe and after there the gospel began to flow, it came here to the New World, where colonies were established, in this part of the Northeast and later it grew in the United States, Canada and missionary movements to different parts of the world began. But all of that was part of a church that was eager for the fire of God. In the 18th century, in the United States and in different parts of Europe, let's say two centuries, almost two centuries after the Reformation, God again moved the church to seek more of God. And relationship links were established between Christians here in the United States and Christians in Europe and God sent revival to the United States and to different parts of Europe and there was like an awakening. That's where the great movements came from, such as the Wesley brothers, where Methodism came from, which was a denomination that was very, very passionate about God and filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit with a totally biblical root and a passion for souls that was very different from my own. personal and humble opinion of what we see today in Methodism here in the United States and in so many other evangelical groups in this nation. But we have to go back, and what I see here, in this passage, is two things, the Lord, as I was saying… he was talking about his second coming and he was also talking about the need to that we live a Christianity that takes into account that second coming, that we live our faith as if he came today. That we not let ourselves be lulled by the idea that he would come who knows when... I say that Christians of the 21st century have been robbed of two or three of the great doctrines that are needed to have a passion for God, humanly speaking. One of them is the doctrine of hell that I myself have had to ask the Lord for, these days I am asking the Lord to take away a lot of the false intellectualism that robs us of the idea of believing that there is a hell. Now I'm not sure, actually, I can't say for sure that hell is a place where there are devils with forks poking people while they are with some flames fire, I'm not sure about that, and I don't think anyone can say for sure because we don't have enough clarity in Jesus' elaborations about it. But one thing, there is no doubt about it, is that there is a dimension, I would call it that, a dimension where the souls, our eternal part, will go after death. Not everything ends here in this world, that is essential for the Christian life. The Lord Jesus Christ said: “if there is no resurrection of the dead then we are the most vain and the resurrection is not only of those who are going to enter into eternal life with God but there is also a resurrection for those who will not have access to the throne of God and the presence of God.” Those beings will also live for eternity, but it will be in a totally different dimension, devoid of God's grace, which is the only thing that gives quality to existence. Imagine a dimension or a place as you want to see it where the presence, grace, love, warmth, goodness of God does not penetrate. Imagine this, what would be of the earth... of this planet earth if the sun went out completely. In an instant this earth would become a terribly inhospitable place, frozen, ugly, inhospitable to life, totally devoid of what is needed for warmth, which is needed by the human being or by life. Imagine an earth without the heat of the sun, totally inconceivable for life. Imagine a dimension where the rays of God's goodness do not penetrate, where there is no meaning for the good, the noble, the beautiful, the true, the peaceful, where it is an existence devoid of all those noble things, because the grace of God does not enter. God, there is hell. And I think that... I don't need to elaborate a place of fire flames or things like that to understand that nobody wants to go to that dimension. Even the demons, says the Bible, who have been relegated to a dimension awaiting their judgment, and those demons, that dimension is so inhospitable that they try to gain access to the souls of men and to inhabit them illegitimately because they need and require the human warmth and in some way they try to jump over the fence, so to speak, and enter the world of men and that is where the contaminations that we experience come from, because that place of exile is a place where no one wants to be. And the Lord Jesus Christ is speaking in these passages of which this passage that I just read to you about a coming judgment is a part of, He is also speaking… I believe that, another of the great doctrines that have been stolen from us, that we have to talk about them again for love of humanity, because let me tell you something, today many churches do not want to talk about hell, because... -it's not politically correct -, it's not something nice and because they say there are so many other things we can talk about because we don't attract people for the good, etc. Brothers, humanity often needs to know the bad things, why are people getting tickets in traffic nowadays? Why not just rely on raising awareness among citizens that they shouldn't eat red lights and stop signs? Because the human being is like that… he needs something and he will need it until Jesus Christ comes, no matter how sophisticated the human race gets, he needs the fear of punishment. And there has to be justice, there have to be consequences, that's how it is. And if there weren't those penalties, it would be chaos to drive. And so it also happens with the doctrine of hell, I believe that the human race needs to be warned, because Christ is the most loving being of all, he said it and I talk about it and why not so do we. Then the doctrine of hell has been stolen from us, and I think that in part the doctrine of the second coming of Jesus has been stolen from us as well, because today we don't talk much about it. that, why? because two thousand years have passed and Christ has not yet come and because so many people throughout history have given false teachings and have gone ahead saying that Christ is coming and that they have even given dates and a number of things that have not been given because they have distorted, they have violated, what the word says, that nobody knows the day or the hour, and for that reason, the people have also become a little fearful.

We pastors have lost enthusiasm for talking about the second coming, and because it's been so long that in our subconscious that idea has been diminishing and like yes, we know that Christ is coming but who knows when , maybe it will be within... and certainly no one knows, it could be 200 years from now or it could be tomorrow but there is one thing that the Bible calls us to maintain that doctrine as an emergency modality. Christ can come at any time and we have to live as if he is coming tomorrow. Amen. And so it says, look for example, right there in these passages, let's go to Matthew 24, verse 36, and I'm going to something on all of this, because remember that the passage that I I read, it talks about serving the Lord, these deer to whom the Lord gave 5 talents, 2 talents, 1 talent there comes a time when the Lord comes, the one who gave them those gifts and who are the deer? It is us, each one of us. One day the Lord is going to come and give us... he is going to ask for an account, in his second coming the Lord comes not only to judge the wicked who did not receive him but also comes in a sense to take account of each one of the saved also, about what we did with the talents and gifts that he made available to us. He is talking about that, that taking account of them. And we have as a church,.... there is a day, a day is coming when Christ comes and all humanity is going to be subjected to judgment and souls are going to leave to hell and souls are going to go to eternal glory and the church God has placed it here, Christ left it to be the instrument that preaches the gospel, that guides the nations, that warns people about what is going to happen, and that then the church has to stay active. We each belong to a corporation so to speak, for which we work and each of us is supposed to be productive in that eternal corporation. You who are there, put your name in your mind right now and you, if you are a child of God, God has called you so that your life counts in the light of that event that is going to happen from the second coming of Jesus to judge humanity and God is going to take account of you because the word says so, as a Christian, of what you did while you were here on earth, with the talents you God gave you That precious knowledge of Jesus, as Lord and savior, as the only mediator between God and men, you are not supposed to keep it only for yourself. I ask the Lord at this time, Father, revive in me the painful awareness of what hell is and of the souls that are lost. Revive in me the desire to dedicate these years of my life to be useful to you and that nothing else in my life matters, except to advance the interests of your kingdom and to be useful for the kingdom of God. How many have that same desire in their hearts? I hope that all the brothers here, that all of our church, that we are not a merely religious church as there are so many people who live only in maintenance mode, come to church on Sunday as a habit, that's all, as they came 20 years ago. , 30 years old and what do they go to church for? What are we going to church for? Is it just to fulfill a social mission, a religious mission? To feel good and respectable? To offer the Lord an hour there of a sometimes half-cooked adoration? And then we leave exactly as we were, to live again toiling and focused on just earning money and paying for the house and buying clothes and food and having the barbecue in the summer and that's all. What meaning does being a Christian have for us? How does that penetrate our life, our consciousness? What passion, what degree of passion is there in us to serve the Lord, in light of that great coming event from which Christ comes. And as I was saying, we have allowed ourselves to be robbed of that doctrine of the second coming of Jesus Christ, I confess it myself, many times because I have so much respect for the things of God I did not want, as I said, to be too insistent on something that I say: "well, we don't know when it will come", meanwhile we have to serve the Lord and work. But I see that the Lord placed great importance on it and I believe brothers, and amen, I cannot be thinking of the others who have said that "but I feel that the coming of the Lord is definitely very close", because the Lord does give us invited to see the signs, to see the time. If you look today at the weather forecasts on television, today with radar, and with satellites and ultra-developed images in the media, one can literally see representations of the clouds, for example when they come from New York and they tell you about one o'clock in the afternoon we are going to have rain here because the clouds are already there in New York... and they calculate the wind speed from this and the other, and they look at the signs, they look at the elements of time and they do some calculations, and they say for such a time it seems that this is how it goes... they don't tell you the exact time but they tell you between 1 and 5 or at night, or tomorrow or the weekend. They make assertions and estimates. And the Lord also said that we have to observe the times, and the Lord has nothing against the church using certain signs to determine certain powers of the Holy Spirit. And the Lord said very clearly, he says that "....kingdom will pile up against kingdom for example, there will be earthquakes and there will be great famines on earth...., he talks about the nations being in commotion with each other, he talks of a terrible decay of morality, of the corruption of men, he speaks of the laughter of the people about his second coming, and all these things... if we look... he also speaks of apostasy, that is, of a The church is also going to lose its love for the Lord, and it will become more and more lukewarm and more and more distant from the truth of God. He says that people will also itch to hear. Hear me out there, brothers, there is a great itch for spiritual things. Now what happens is he says that and teachers will pile up, he says, to give the people what they want to hear. Today there is a great hunger for spirituality in the world, everyone is desiring something, but what happens? They don't want to hear the truth, they want to hear about spirituality in general terms, tell them about angels, and everyone is “Oh yeah, Little Angel over there with wings flying”, they like that, right? Talk to them about the spirit and of course the spirit is no problem but talk to them about Jesus Christ, be specific in your preaching, and you will see how at the moment they do not want to hear about it, why? because the problem with religion is that it puts... true religion sets limits on people, I think we could have many more people here in León de Judá if I didn't preach certain doctrines and I wasn't as specific as I can sometimes be Because there are many people who don't like being talked about morality, being talked about holiness, being talked about dedication to the Lord, being talked about hell, being talked about different areas of moral life, etc. And those things for many are like, as I said, condemnatory or legalistic and they don't like that thing because… Today yes, people have a lot of itching to hear like never in history, today there are philosophies, there are today all kinds of religions that are offered: Buddhism, Hinduism, Satanism, paganism, different aspects of Christianity, there is everything. The word says that there will be a great itch in the last times of the people and since they do not want to hear the truth they say that they will pile up teachers who speak to them according to their own lusts, that is to say, that they preach to them according to what they like, and Don't preach to them about things they don't like, but all these signs today also speak of a great advance in science. Daniel wrote in the last chapters of his book about great advances in knowledge and science, all of these things we are seeing at this time. Things are being seen, I think those who announced the coming because there was corruption 200 years ago or whatever it was if they had never imagined that humanity would have reached where it is today. Personally, I personally believe that there is still a little while to go, but it will not be long, and we cannot allow that awareness of the coming to be stolen from us. Look at what the Lord Jesus Christ says in Matthew 24.36 and maybe I'll have to continue with this later, but it says: “ ....but of the day and hour no one knows", Matthew 24.36: "....not even the angels of heaven but only my Father, more like in the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the son of man For as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away, so will the coming of the son of man.....", that is to say of Jesus Christ, is warning of how it is going to be, it is a prophetic word of the expert in eschatology that is Jesus Christ. It says “...Then there will be two in the field, one will be taken and the other will be left, two women will be grinding at a mill, one will be taken and the other will be left ....", look here it says, watch then! The key word here is Watch. It means be alert, be vigilant, be prepared, “....because you do not know what time your Lord is coming....” He is speaking here to the Christians, his disciples, his followers. Nowadays, perhaps, there will not be this business of windmills and all this, but put it another way, there will be two women in a factory in an assembly line and at the moment one will be taken away and the other will say: “Oops, what happened? And one will be left. There will be two sleeping, a husband and a wife, I hope it's like that, right?, and one will be taken, it has to be like that for it to be taken, right? And another will be left. People will be at parties, there is another passage that says that people laugh and say “Hey… Where is this about the second coming of the Lord because since ancient times they are not saying that Christ comes and never comes? Because? says the apostle Paul, “because the Lord delays his coming to see if the greatest number of people will be converted. Now for those who say there is no such thing as hell, why is the Lord delaying His coming to try to make sure that as many as possible get in because God doesn't want any of them to get in? lose, but all proceed to salvation says the word. And what is this to get lost but… it is that, a loss. A lot of people say no when people die if they don't go to heaven God just turns off the lights no they just get lost in space. Don't let anyone ever tell you that there is no eternal punishment, because the Bible is full of passages, God knows, God doesn't want anyone to go to hell, he says how can a good God allow such suffering for people? Well, God does not want anyone to be lost, God wants everyone to be saved, and he has made it so easy in a sense, that only by receiving Christ as Lord and Savior, opening your heart to him, joining his sacrifice on the cross, you too can receive salvation, and if you get lost it is because of your bad head, not because God is bad. When a police officer gives you a ticket because you ran a red light or ran a stop sign, the policeman is not bad, the policeman is simply enforcing the law. And so, and so it is, God has established a barrier and borders, and we have to be vigilant because God does not want anyone to get lost, he says: “....watch then for you do not know what time your Lord is coming, but know this that if the householder knew what time the thief was coming, he would watch and would not let his house be broken into, therefore also you be ready because the Son of Man will come at the time you do not think....” And it is so, after two thousand years more than ever humanity says: Christ is not going to come, those are symbolic doctrines there , mystics, that is simply a sign that God one day, the principles of good will rule over humanity. Intellectual theologians have tried to demystify these doctrines, and today there is even a church and there is a world out there that says: "Christ is not going to come", because for two thousand years the church has been with the same chant that he is going to come. to come, it is going to come, it is going to come, it has not arrived yet, and every day people are sinking more and more into a kind of torpor and sleep. And so it is happening with the church too. Today we come to our well-perfumed salons, well groomed, with our ties and our good dresses, we sit down, we worship there for an hour and a bit, and if After that we get upset because we have to go see the ball game or have a barbecue or whatever, and we come back to our life again, and the church has been neglected, the church has been neglected. We have lost the passion, why? Because the truth is that if, if we are honest, if Christ did not come and if this world is simply all there is, it is simply going to be something progressive, little by little, that humanity already abandoned the idea that the world is going to get better through science and through a progressive improvement, that is what is called the postmodern world. That is, there was a time when Western culture believed that the world was going to get better, simply as a consequence of more knowledge, more teaching, more science, a progressive illumination of humanity, and this doctrine began to be preached at the time of the Enlightenment in the -Enlightment-, in the illustration in the 18th century, and when the 20th century came with all its terrible wars, and all its genocides, the First World War , World War II, Vietnam, uh, the..., the great massacres in Russia and all this, humanity in the 20th century saw that horrible face of the human being, where millions and millions of people died, today with terrorism and all these things, in what head does humanity fit that the more it knows the better it gets? It is quite the opposite, the more humanity knows, the more cynical and sinister it becomes, and the more tools are invented to destroy itself. So the world does not get better, I believe that God understands this, the word of God I understand this and that is why the church has to retain that sense of urgency. Let's not get so sophisticated that we think that simply out of respect for the Bible and moral and ethical values that we are going to have a passionate church. An impassioned church still needs the encouragement of knowing that Christ is coming and coming soon, and that there are souls to be rescued from hell, and that there is also a heaven that God has destined for those who make their covenant with Jesus Christ today, because that is a third doctrine that we have also allowed ourselves to be stolen, the doctrine of heaven, the doctrine of eternal life. Many of us, if we are honest, have relegated that idea to a back seat, we have it somewhere in the back of our mind, our conscience, the church today, the church Modern life does not have that intense sense of heaven that God has promised us, and we have to recover that too, we have to recover the fact of a reward for those who die in Christ Jesus. The Apostle Paul in first Corinthians chapter 15, talks about that that we do not stop doing good because we will have our reward. And all these things, the doctrine of the second coming, the doctrine of hell, the doctrine of heavenly glory, we must rescue them, the church has to be preaching about these things to rescue their sense of urgency and our sense, our need to watch and to serve the Lord and to work while we are here on earth, to rescue as many souls as possible from the clutches of Satan and hell. That doesn't sound very sophisticated does it? But it is the word of God. And the Lord Jesus Christ in this series of passages is what he says, right? Be vigilant, look at what it says here: “Know that if the head of the family knew what time the thief would come, he would watch and would not let his house be spoiled, so you also be prepared for the Son of Man will come...” This thing about if the householder knew what time… Who is the householder? I believe that the church is the father of the family, in a sense there are many ways to interpret this but… God has given the church that authority in the world, so that the church is the illuminating force. What does a parent do? A family man in that image that the patter familias that the Lord Jesus Christ puts is the one who watches over the well-being of the family, the person who has authority over the family, the one who is in charge of providing for the family, of giving it instruction , to use his authority to guard the well-being of the family. That is what the church is on this earth. And the church of the 21st century has allowed itself to be numbed, brothers, we have allowed ourselves to be numbed and we do not understand that God has put us here to warn the world that a day of reckoning is approaching, and that one day the Lord is going to tell us: What did you do to prevent all those souls from going to hell? What are you doing in your life? What part do you play? There are many of us brothers, I ask this to each one of you, if you were not in this church, if you stopped coming to church, or strayed from the gospel Let's say not even come to León de Judá, but if you left the gospel, would someone know about it? Would your absence make any difference? Let's talk about León de Judá specifically, those who come here who consider this their church, if you stopped coming to León de Judá, would this church suffer in any way? Would there be any loss? Many brothers, I say it with love, you know that I am not saying it, you know that I am not saying it with the slightest intention of hurting anyone and my heart does not feel anger, I feel nothing, except a healthy pastoral desire to awaken your souls. What are you doing? What difference does your life make for the well-being of the gospel and for the advancement of the gospel? What are you giving to rescue souls and to promote the health of the church of Jesus Christ, so that that church can carry out the task of protecting humanity, and carry out the work? Because look, in that passage that I read to you... and I'm finishing, there are three, three people who receive gifts, they are this man's deer, it says that he gave to each one according to their ability and you know something? That God has given everyone who is here something, say Amen, no matter who it is, if you are the Lord's deer, the Lord when you come to know Jesus Christ gives you a talent, he gives you something. It gives you a capacity, it gives you a condition or a relationship with someone, or knowledge, there is something in your life that can be useful for the work of the Lord. Some are called to do great and showy things, others may simply be called to carry out anonymous and collective work, but God gives something to each one, you see, he gave one $500, those are perhaps the great evangelists, the denominational directors and big efforts, very visible people. Others he gives maybe 4 talents, and those may be pastors of large or successful churches or people of influence in the kingdom. To others he gives maybe only one talent, and that one might be a housewife who's never going to maybe teach a Sunday school class or preach a sermon to a crowd or whatever, but everyone has a talent and the The Lord expects each one to use the little or how much they have received to advance the kingdom of God here on earth. And each one will have to account for what they did at some point. Now, there is something here, and that is why these passages are very complex, brothers, because here it says that the Lord when he comes in his second coming and gathers his deer and He says: ok, line up here let's see, what did you do with the 5 talents, oh Lord, I took them, invested them and here you have 5 more, after the second, the two well sir I also went, I did this, I did the other, I converted souls, I took what you gave me and started handing out tracts or invited to church and went to seminars or went to institutes and learned and taught Sunday school and worked with the kids and did another one, so Lord, here I am, here is what i did. To the one who gave one, it may be a person, for example, let's say a worker who did not visibly do much and the Lord is going to say: Juanito, and what did you do? Let's see... with the talent that I gave you, well, Lord, you didn't give me much, I couldn't do much and I was afraid because I didn't know how to preach, I didn't know how to teach, but I had never read many books and I was afraid to do a lot of trouble and giving bad teaching to people and I didn't feel prepared so I didn't do anything Lord. That was the one who put the talent under the earth, and the Lord, you think he is going to tell you; "Oh, well, it's fine, Juanito, don't worry, I know what... damn, I was wrong, I didn't give you everything I should have given you." No, the Lord is going to tell you “Juanito golly, why didn't you even pay tithes? Why didn't you even invite Filomena, the one from the apartment next door, to church on a Sunday? Why didn't you take that little boy who was throwing rocks outside your building and talk to him, invite him to Sunday school one day, why didn't you witness to someone at work about Jesus Christ? Why didn't you support a missionary even if it was by sending him an offering so that he could preach the gospel and that you were a partner in that work then? Why didn't you prepare in some way? Because if I had blessed you with that little bit, and with that little bit that you gave, if you had exercised it, I would have given you more, because more will be given to those who have. That is the rule of the gospel, start with what little you have and with that God will use it to give you more and more and more. But if you don't use the little that you have, even that little that you have, God will take it from you and one day, when the Lord Jesus Christ comes, he will ask you, what did you do with what I gave you? Notice that he called the three deer to account, and this wasn't optional, was it? He said, I have given you something and I expect you to give it to me, there is no Christian option, if you are a child of God you are supposed to be doing something to advance the kingdom of God, you are supposed to be watching, and praying, you are supposed to be anxious to do something for the Lord, what are you doing? What are we doing to advance the kingdom of God? What are we doing to prevent souls from entering hell? God is calling us brothers, I believe that God wants to bring revival to this nation and to the world. Brothers, I feel that the greatest visitation of the power of God is before us at this time, the greatest harvest of souls is before us now, I feel that God wants to bring a visitation of his power but the church has to get its act together . We have to go back to the old paths, I truly believe in that more than ever, the church of Jesus Christ has to rescue these truths again, they are hidden here, they are like those dots on the computer, gray, right? We cannot operate on it, and we need to wake up. This morning I want to lift your spirit, straighten your spirit, there are some brothers from Lazo de Amor who are leaving for the Dominican Republic, they are investing their money, their vacation time to go there to do missions, that is an example of what can be done. None of them, that I know of, is a spiritual genius, they are people who love the Lord and are spiritually developed, but they are not waiting for the pastor to commission them and pay for their trip, they felt restless to do that, glory to the Lord . And so that's what we can do, there is something you can do, there is something you can do, and we have to be watching and praying, we have to be vigilant. I want to invite you, in the name of the Lord this morning, leave here with a great passion to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. God needs a church on fire for that visitation from him to take place, the church will have to revive first, for the harvest to come they have to start with a church burning on fire for the Lord. “.... do not get drunk with wine but be filled with the Holy Spirit....” says the word of the Lord, we are going to ask the Lord to revive us, to revive the fire of the gift of God in us, amen!!. We are going to ask the Lord to remove the blindfolds from our eyes, to make the scales fall from our eyes of false religiosity and that there is an awakening in the people of God. Let this church know that we are called to live with our eyes set on a city not made with the hands of men and that we live for the glory of God, a committed church, brothers, a committed church. We already have to stop playing Christianity and internalize the call of God. I no longer want respectable people in my church, brothers, I want warrior people, dangerous people, subversive people, militant people, committed people, brothers, passionate people for the kingdom of God, radical people, who are on fire for the Lord. I hope that God allows that fire to spread in us, to be able to rescue souls from hell, brothers, to be able to give back to the church that dignity that it has lost. The church is a sleeping giant, a giant that many little men have been tying up with thin ropes and it's like Gulliver, I don't know if you remember the story of Gulliver, tied up by all the dwarfs, right? It cannot be moved, there are thousands of threads that have tied the church and do not allow it to raise its voice as God wants the church to roar. The church is a trained kitten today, its teeth and claws have been removed, and the church has to get its dignity back, it has to get its dangerous character back, and that starts with you. The Lord wants to wake you up, wake up you who sleep and Christ will enlighten you says the word of the Lord, wake up you who sleep and Christ will enlighten you says the Lord. In the name of Jesus we declare a different spirit over this church, a spirit of radicalism in the Lord, let us rebuke the comfortable spirit, let us rebuke the mediocre spirit, let us rebuke the religious and respectable spirit and we are going to put on the armor of God to conquer this world. God wants to do it but he needs Gideon to assume his authority and instead of hiding from the Midianites, go and tear down the idol that is placed in the center of the city and make an altar to worship the true God with that idol, and there will be confrontation, there will be controversy, there will be anger, because the devil is not going to give up what he has and what he has worked so hard to win, and he is very comfortable entrenched, but we need the fire of God to visit the church so that souls are snatched from the clutches of Satan and hell. Let's stand up, in the name of the Lord, I hope this is a declamation, I'm not declaiming here just in case, you know, this is not a poem, These are not pretty words, I don't want to be there, simply for them to say: "ohh, how beautiful the sermon" and then leave and do the same as always, I want to wake them up in the name of the Lord, that the words of the Holy Spirit nail their hearts, our hearts or may it be a life-giving word, may it be the living word of God, falling on the land of your soul. Remove the dirt right now from your soul and say “Lord, I receive that seed in my life, I receive the seed of your challenge, I receive the call to live a life that is worth living and that count for the kingdom of God in this defining time of humanity”, because it is a defining time. The dirty will get dirtier, the clean will get cleaner. It is a time of definition, Christ comes to bring division more than I think unity in this time, that the essences are divided, the heretical church becomes more heretical, the pure and clean church, becomes clearer, more defined, because It is a time where those who are not clearly defined will be lost, they will not survive the wave of evil that is unleashed on the earth at this time. The one who is halfway, the one who is lukewarm, the one who is indefinite, will not survive what is coming. That is why we have to be very clearly defined and sure in whom we have believed and what is the gospel that we have embraced, otherwise we are not going to have a good time. So church wake up, says the Lord, wake up says the Lord, fan the fire of the gift of God that is in you, make a commitment in your heart to live for God, make a commitment to live in holiness, make a commitment to please to the Lord in everything you do, make a commitment that your money, your time, your property, your talents, be worth to God or that the Lord put a holy fire in us, a passion for souls, and that the Lord start with me stirring up my sense of the reality of eternal perdition, of those who are not in Christ Jesus, and make it an obsession and something agonizing within me, so that I can pass on that same passion, that same commitment to my people . Lord, visit us this morning for the word that has been preached, for the word that has been preached, Lord, visit us. Visit your town Father, visit your town with a new feeling Lord of commitment and passion with you in the name of Jesus. We need, we need Lord your visitation this morning. Father, we reject the spirit of indifference and lukewarmness. Lord We renounce comfort, we renounce things as they are, we renounce indifference, and lukewarmess in the name of Jesus, we pray for the fire of your spirit to fill our hearts and our souls Lord, cleanse our minds of all that druse, of all that accumulation of a false reason and sophistication, and give us a mind that it`s like a child´s mind, penetrable, porous … sensitive to your impressions, Father, that we might return to your simple truths that are life. Oh Lord, visit us with your power in the name of Jesus, forgive us Father, forgive us for making your gospel so cheap Lord, forgive us for watering down the intensity of your revelation, forgive us for cheapening this experience sublime communion with you and to adore you in spirit and in truth and turn it into a social, religious ritual activity, dead Lord. Wake us up, wake us up Lord, fan the fire of God in us and start with this church, start with their pastors Lord, start with their leaders Lord, start with us Lord, do a work of awakening Lord. We need you Oh God, your church needs you, Father we pray for your church in this nation for all the influence that this nation has Father, on the world, wake up your church Oh God , raise the voice of the prophet in this time Lord, let your voice be heard to awaken your people, to sound the warning trumpet Oh God, so that a renewed church can reconquer this nation, or perhaps for the first time infuse it with a different attitude Father. You have revived your people periodically, you have visited them with fresh rains that have brought a new passion, which have advanced your interests on earth, we ask that this time, Lord, be a time of such visitation for your people, visit your people in New England Lord, visit your people throughout this nation, revive your work in the midst of the times Lord, revive your work in the midst of the times Lord, revive your work in the midst of the times Lord, revive your work in the midst of the times Lord. Oh visit us visit us Lord. We need you Father, we are dry, we are cold, Father, only you can send your sun, your warmth, and enliven us, Lord. Melt, Father, the ice that is in our hearts, Father, in the body of your church. Send your spirit Lord, upon the towns of New England, those beautiful churches that once preached your pure word where there were people passionate about you, where your word was heard with holy respect Lord, now they are violated by words of demons and cold teaching and dead, illegitimate people Father that you have not put them there, they have put themselves under the mandates of men and customs of men. Lord, remove from your pulpits the word that is not yours Lord and replace it with a fresh word, a biblical word, a spiritual word Lord. Take possession of your pulpits again Father, take possession of your temples built by God fearing men and women, take possession of universities that were founded to further the advancement of your gospel Lord, take possession of legislatures where there are still paintings and there are declarations of respect for your name and your word and today they are nothing more than simply archaeological remains of a vanished and dead spirituality Lord, who no longer has... does not speak, does not exert influence, but Father you can revive those voices again and you can hand those places back to the original builders. And we rebuke the devil who has taken possession of those things, which do not belong to you, Satan, and we demand that you give them back to the church of Jesus Christ. Father revive your church, revive your church, start with us Lord, start with me this morning, wake up your people Father, put a holy fear in us Lord. Fan the fire of God in your people, in the name of Jesus fan the fire of God in us. We want more Lord, we want more of you, we want more of you Father in Jesus name, in Jesus name thank you Lord thank you Jesus. Say love to the Lord in your spirit. Oh that the Lord removes the foundations of his people this morning, hallelujah, amen brother, think about the word you have heard, think about the call because this is not from man, this is from God, this is the time, this is the time for a great harvest, this is the time for the church of Jesus Christ to put on the full armor of the spirit and to do what God has called it to be which is to conquer the nations and establish the lordship of Jesus Christ and prepare the earth for the second coming of the Lord Jesus. We are going to conceive a holy zeal for God in our hearts this morning, to God and honor him forever and ever, amen and amen, thank you Lord.
