The Consecrated Path

Leviticus told us long ago You gotta consecrate to let the spirit flow God is distinct, He stands apart He wants a set-apart people, a set-apart heart You can't mix the shadow with the light You gotta stand up strong and fight the good fight

Blessings are the fruit (Yes they are) Growing on the tree of Holiness You want to see the Lord? (I wanna see Him) You gotta walk in righteousness Chase the peace, but keep it clean The greatest sight you’ve ever seen Is waiting at the end of the road When you carry the holy load

Now don't you think you earn your way But you can't be lazy and expect the pay Paul told the Hebrews, listen clear Without sanctification, God won't draw near It’s a synergy, a holy dance God gives the power, but you gotta take the stance

Wash the vessel, scrub it deep Wake the spirit from its sleep Not just outside, but in the will Let the Holy Spirit get His fill!
