Crucified with Christ

Song of Solomon 7:10 • Galatians 2:20

I am Yours, Beloved, Your heart beats for mine, A sacred exchange, a love so divine. No longer my own, but utterly bound, In Your perfect purpose, my spirit is found. Your desire for me, a whisper so clear, Chasing away every doubt and every fear.

Crucified with Christ, yet I still breathe, It's no longer I who live, but Christ in me. Every dream, every will, now laid at Your feet, My life, Lord, is Yours, be it bitter or sweet. For You loved me so deeply, gave all You could give, Now only for You, my sweet Jesus, I live.

This life in the flesh, a vapor, a mist, Each breath, every moment, by Your grace exists. No plans of my own, no path I can claim, Unless it is spoken and sealed by Your name. You have the full right to do what You please, To break every pride, bring my spirit to ease.

Oh, the arrogance of wanting my own way, To plan out tomorrow, forget You today. But if You should will it, then this I will do, My choices surrendered, forever to You. A servant, a slave, by love made complete, Laying all that I am at Your merciful feet.

Not I... but Christ in me... Only You, Lord... only You... I am my Beloved's, His desire's toward me... And His desire is all for me...
