Joshua 14:11-12 • Revelation 21:7
The calendar turns and the seasons, they rush like the wind They say that the winter is coming, the ending begins But I don't see a burden in counting the years that are gone I’m watching the skyline, I’m waiting for glorious dawn This isn’t a fading, oh no, it’s a gathering fire A climb to the summit, a hope that is reaching up higher So don’t count me out, for my spirit is youthful and free I’m ready to claim what the Father bas promised to me
So give me this mountain! I’m taking the hill I’m as strong as the day that I bowed to Your will Though the giants are waiting behind every wall If the Lord goes before me, the giants will fall! I’m ready for battle, I’m ready to win With the strength of a warrior under my skin No fear of the shadows, no fear of the height Give me this mountain, I’m claiming my right!
I’ve looked at the landscape, the valleys and peaks in the way Some are sheer obstacles, some are where blessings will stay But all belong to the Shepherd who gave them to me A heritage written in stone for the faithful to see I’ll conquer the hard road, I’ll wrestle the pain and the cost For nothing in Your hands is wasted, and nothing is lost Though the cities are fenced and the Anakims stand in the door Your grace is the weapon that I have been waiting for
So give me this mountain!
He that overcomes shall inherit it all To be called His son, to answer the call I’m planting the olives, I’m sinking the roots So the children behind me can gather the fruits Let me be the Caleb who stands in the gap Who refuses to settle, who redraws the map Renew like the eagle! Let faith arise! There is fire in my soul, there is light in my eyes!
Give me this mountain!
Give me this mountain (I want my inheritance) Give me this mountain (Every step, every mile) For the glory of God... Give me this mountain.
