One Spirit

Exodus 28:3 • 1 Corinthians 12:7

In the silence of the loom, a holy thread is spun By hands that hold a wisdom from the Father to the Son Like the artisans of old, weaving colors for the priest The Spirit fills the worker, from the greatest to the least It isn't just the thunder, or the parting of the sea It’s the wisdom in the fingers, working faithfully

One Spirit, many winds, blowing where He wills One River, many streams, flowing down the hills From the weaver to the prophet, from the servant to the sage It’s the same breath of Heaven moving on the stage Given to each one of us, to make the body whole One God, diverse and beautiful, the anchor of the soul

Some are given words of knowledge, shining in the dark Some have hands of healing, leaving mercy’s mark Some will stand and prophesy, while others serve the meal Some give with joy and laughter, helping hearts to heal It’s not a fractured kingdom, not a war of separate gods But a tapestry of grace, defying all the odds

We are different colors in the same pure light We are different stars in the same vast night Three in One, a mystery, the Father, Spirit, Son Binding us together until the work is done For the profit of the Kingdom, for the good of every man I will move within the gift that You have placed inside my hand

One Spirit (One Spirit) One Lord (One Lord) I will serve where You have called me In the power of Your Word (One Spirit... One Lord...) Moving in the mystery... Amen.
