Seeing is not Believing (Mark 9:14)

Summary: The passage from Mark 9:14-29 tells the story of Jesus encountering a powerless church and a crowd with problems, including a boy possessed by a demon. Despite the disciples being authorized to cast out demons, they were unable to do so in this case. The message is that the power of God is available to the church, but it is limited by our faith. If we believe, all things are possible, as God is almighty and can do anything. The filter that limits the transfer of God's power is our own faith, which needs to be strong and clean to allow God's power to flow through us.

The problem is not that God is not Almighty, but that people do not believe in Him. The postmodern era, where no one believes in absolute truth, is not new as the Bible speaks of an unbelieving generation. Even when people see signs and miracles, they still doubt. Believing is not a decision of the mind, but of the heart. The Lord offers us the miracle of faith, and it is through faith that we can see and feel the supernatural. The wrath of God is revealed against those who reject the evidence of God's existence. We can come to believe by opening our hearts to the power of God.

The speaker encourages the audience to believe in God and take steps of faith, such as obeying God's word and moving in His promises. He also suggests uniting with other believers to exercise faith together. The speaker shares an example of how greeting a man with a mental handicap led to a gradual relationship and unity in faith. He invites anyone who has not yet received Jesus as their savior to make a profession of faith.

How many believe that the Lord has something great and powerful for the city of Boston? How many believe that the Lord has something great and powerful for the Lion of Judah Congregation. Let's go to Mark, Chapter 9, brothers, beginning with verse 14.

My prayer this morning, brothers, is that we all cross a border, that we cross an invisible border. I declare it from now on, declaring what is not as if it were, and in the end any borders that we have to cross to conquer the terrain that the Lord has for our individual lives, as a church endowed for special things, in a precise city May the Lord fulfill it according to his name. And we have a long road ahead of us and a heavy task.

Mark, Chapter 9, verse 14: “When he came to where the disciples were...,” he came from where? The biblical portion that anticipates, this biblical portion is the mount of transfiguration. Jesus in his glory, transfigured in front of his disciples: Peter, James and John.

“When he came to where the disciples were at the bottom of this mountain, he saw a large crowd around them and scribes disputing with them, and immediately all the people seeing him were astonished and running to him they greeted him and asked them: What do you argue with them? And answering one of the crowd said: Master, I brought to you my son who has a mute spirit which takes him wherever he wants, shakes him and foams at the mouth and gnashes his teeth and dries up, and I told your disciples to throw him out. and they couldn't. And answering He said to them: Oh, unbelieving generation, until when I will be with you, until when I will bear you. bring it to me (Jesus is having a bad day). And they brought it to him and when the spirit saw Jesus it violently shook the boy who, falling to the ground, rolled around foaming at the mouth. Jesus asked the father: How long has this been happening? (He diagnosed him, he is advising him, a tremendous shepherd, Jesus) And he said to him: since he was a child, and many times they throw fire into the water to kill him but if you can do something have mercy on us and help us. Jesus said to him: If you can believe, to him who believes all things are possible. I like this verse in the new international version. Jesus here says: How can I? When you believe, anything is possible. “And through the boy's father he cried and said: I believe. Help my disbelief. And when Jesus saw that the crowd was gathering, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him: Dumb and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more. Then the spirit, crying out and shaking him violently, came out and he remained as if dead. So many said: he is dead. (So deep the peace on this boy). But Jesus, taking him by the hand, straightened him up and he got up. When he entered the house, his disciples asked him aside: Why couldn't we throw him out? And he told them: this gender can get out with nothing but with prayer and fasting. This is the word of the Lord. Father, thank you that Your word is alive and effective, and sharper than a two-edged sword. We believe Master. Help our disbelief.

Brothers, imagine this scene because this scene symbolizes a lot. In part we can say, for me reading this scene can be called: the nightmare of the pastor returning from his vacation. But what did they do to the church? Pastor, there was a demon, a little demon that manifested itself and we rebuked it and it ignored us and there was a small fire and 30 more brothers went to Florida, and we collected an offering of 20 dollars. Oh shepherd! Until when, until when No, glory to God. We are going to testify to the pastor, the power of God moved, souls came to the Lord, we felt his presence, chains were broken, we had a day of victory, pastor. We miss you. We miss you but the Lord showed up anyway and blessed us with his presence. Amen.

But it's another kind of nightmare. I think it's just a nightmare. What this represents, brothers, and I believe that prophetically what this scene represents is a profile of the modern church, a profile of the days in which we live. And let us know, brothers, that the days in which we live, we can take the encouragement that is nothing new. Our spiritual struggles, our temptations, our frustrations, it's nothing new. This afternoon when the Lord descends from the mount of transfiguration and encounters this scene, all the elements of the church's struggle today, in 2004, are here.

First we have the triumphant, powerful Lord, never was his glory more obvious, never was it more obvious that he was the Christ, the Messiah, never was it more obvious. In front of the eyes of his disciples he is transformed into his natural glory, that must have been something serious. See our King's wardrobe transformed from his rags, humble humans into glory. What purposely awaits us one day. An experience that awaits each one of us, each believer will be transformed in the blink of an eye, says the word of God. And they got to see him, and they saw Jesus conversing with Moses and Elijah and Peter declares: this is too good, we don't want to get off here. Let's do ramada train, let's stay here. This is the glory of God. Mighty Jesus.

And we see a church that Jesus calls by name and authorizes. Brethren, let us know something about these disciples. Each of these disciples were authorized to rebuke these demons, one, and two had already done so in this same Gospel, in the Gospel of Mark, Chapter 6, we see in verse 7 that Jesus, calling his disciples, says: " ...then he called the 12 and began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over unclean spirits", and then in verse 12 he declares: "...and they went out and preached that men should repent and cast out many demons and anointed with oil and many sick and healed them. These same disciples who are facing this frustrating scene had already been empowered by the power of God to cast out demons and lay hands on the sick and had already seen the power of God flow through them. It was nothing new to them, berating a demon. It was nothing new for them to see a sick person healed. I dare say, it was nothing new for them, to see a dead man rise. They were authorized with the power of God but still what we see is not a scene of a mighty church, moving in their gifts and, by the way, the Lord scattered them, called them and ordered them to go out to the surroundings of Jerusalem from Two by two.

In other words, they were armed with the name of Jesus, the name of Jesus, not the tangible presence of Jesus, his authority. Here they have the same. They are confronting a demon but the scene is very different. Instead of a powerful church, what we see is a powerless church, the beautiful thing is that the word of God does not protect us from this scene. In his mercy he allows us to see this. He allows us to see the disciples in this condition so that we can learn from them. And we see the Lord come down after a terrible spiritual retreat, a demonstration of the power of God without equal. And he is confronted with confusion, and he is confronted with a powerless church, and he is confronted with a crowd that brings serious problems to the church, to the disciples. Jesus I brought you, I brought you my son, she tells him. By the way, the scribes are not far away. And what do the scribes represent? We are surrounded by a world that watches us, an incredulous world that criticizes us, and a world ready to point out every fault in the church of Jesus Christ. Looking for the slightest evidence of impotence in the church of Jesus Christ, as if to say: Aha, see, you preach tremendous Jesus. You preach a Gospel of power. You preach a God who changes hearts. But, and this one, and this other one, and what about this demon, and why can't you rebuke him, you and your great Jesus, and now what? And they watch over us, brothers. They watch over us. They are waiting for precisely those moments of helplessness and weakness. In his life it has not happened, declaring you, a king of glory, declaring your tremendous changes, declaring you serve a mighty God. Don't you have your friends? Don't you have your coworkers? Many of them long for the Gospel that comes from your lips to be true.

I believe that the world that hostilely criticizes the church is a minority. I believe that the great crowd is a crowd that longs for Jesus, that longs for a powerful God, that longs for a powerful church, that longs for a church capable of bringing change, capable of moving in the power of God, capable of using the authority that God has delegated you. When they come here, brothers, and they come and they will come and they will come and I hope they come in multitudes, they will come with their sins, they will come with their chains, they will come with their vices, they will come with their illnesses, they will come with their troubles, they will come with their messy lives, so we do not arrive? That's how we arrived. Didn't we come like this? They will come with the hope that they will confront a powerful Jesus and Jesus says I bring you, I bring you my son, I bring you my husband, I bring you my marriage, I bring you my cancer, I bring you my addiction, I bring you my confusion, I bring you my need, I bring you my grief, I bring you my pain, I bring you my life. Do something Jesus. If you can, have mercy on me and do something. And here we see the contrast of an Almighty God and like all this power is passing through a contaminated filter.

Speaking of steps of faith, this Tuesday we are going to celebrate a barbecue at my house and I decided to throw out the charcoal oven that we have because frankly I don't know how to use it. I fired him, well, Marina, we are going to modernize. I am going to buy a gas oven. I have my fantasies of dealing with a gas oven. You think that I am not a mechanic at all, the Lord did not give me those gifts. I said in the name of Jesus, I'm going to put it together, because it came in a box and it says it doesn't even need tools. The first lie, the Lord rebuke them. Don't believe the guy at Home Depot when he says he doesn't need tools. You needed a good screwdriver and whatever. I open that box and begin to take out pieces and I think: if I don't put this together correctly, that's as far as Samuel came, as far as the house came, as far as half the neighborhood. A step of faith: yesterday in the name of Jesus, after putting everything together and seeing if all the wires were where they had to be and all the tubes where they had to be, in the name of Jesus, you know what? .... and it lit. He lit, glory to God. I thought the first miracle of this weekend. But, my confidence in this device went up because they say that this device has a filter. Each gas appliance, each gas oven is armed with a filter. This powerful gas tank, which if neglected can result in a dramatic explosion. But that gas flows through a very finite pin, all that gas goes through that filter. And if that filter isn't glued exactly as it should be to the gas tank, it doesn't flow, it doesn't flow. All that power, all that energy stays in the tank. And we ran out of meat, we ran out of flame. Something like that more or less is the power of God.

The Lord has glued this church to a tremendous energy tank, the power of God, the same energy that gave life to the universe, that put the stars in their place, that with his word nothing more created the sky and the land. That is the power at the disposal of the church. But the Lord has plugged this power into a very finite filter called faith. And that filter is not clean, if that filter doesn't work, that power will not be transferred to our lives and to our reality. Almighty God, the sovereign God, limits Himself. The Lord says: if you can believe, to him who believes, all things are possible. He is the one who believes everything is possible.

The problem is not that God is not Almighty, in this same Gospel in Chapter 10 when the disciples asked Jesus, well if this one is rich, pious he cannot get to heaven, then who will get to heaven? And the Lord declares: "For men it is impossible but for God not because all things are possible for God." He declares to the prophet Jeremiah: “I am Jehovah, the God of all flesh. Will there be something difficult for me? It is a rhetorical question because we know that it is not. For God there is nothing difficult, He is the yadae, the Almighty God, there is nothing He cannot do.

But the key, the filter, is believing. As the Lord told Martha, in front of the tomb of Lazarus, he shares with Martha and says: "Do you believe that your brother will rise again from the dead?", and Martha says: "well, I know that in the resurrection.... The Lord declares to him: I have not told you that if you believe, if you believe, you will see the glory of God. And I believe, brothers, that here we find what is hindering the flow. The Lord diagnoses it in verse 19: "... answering him said to them: O unbelieving generation." Why doesn't the power of God flow as it should? Brethren, because we are, and have been for a long time, an incredulous generation.

What do we mean by this? It sounds scandalous. I was there last year, I had the privilege of attending a graduation from Gordon Conwell Seminary and everyone who just received their doctorate in ministry passed by. More than half of the theses made some reference to postmodern times. I had never heard that term before that, thank God, I might have gotten confused. And I asked, and what does this mean of a postmodern era? And what they indicate with this is that we are now living in a time when nobody honestly believes in anything, in which there is no absolute truth, in which there can be two contrary and equally true truths. That is the idea of the postmodern era. And what I say is that the word of God is speaking of a postmodern era years ago. This is nothing new. The Lord is speaking of an unbelieving generation. The postmodern era has a beginning, it is in the Garden of Eden, when Satan asks Eve and do you take it seriously? do you take the word seriously? Brethren, the postmodern era I don't think is anything different from the generation that Jesus is indicating.

Brethren, keep in mind before Jesus, before John the Baptist, this biblical generation, this New Testament generation, lived 400 years without a prophet, and 400 years without seeing God move in a miraculous way. What happened in those 400 years? What happened in that silence? Two ways of thinking arose and the Apostle Paul describes it in First Corinthians, Chapter 1. He says: "... for the Jews ask for signs, and the Greeks seek wisdom." The Greeks here, brothers, represent those who go to science, those who insist on the scientific method. In other words, if you can't reproduce it in a laboratory, if I can't touch it, if I can't measure it, if I can't feel it, if you can't give me the evidence, if you can't describe it to me, if I can't measure, I can't believe it. If I do not see it, I do not believe it. And Jews look for signs, in other words, show me a miracle and I'll believe it, show me a powerful sign and I'll believe it. How many have not had a friendship? They talk about the Lord and they tell you, well, when Jesus presents himself to me one of these days, and calls me by name, then I believe it. I have news for you, He is going to present himself to you one of these days and if he is going to believe it and if he is going to fall on your knees, and if he is going to declare: Jesus is Lord. Now, I hope it's not too late.

This is nothing new. In the previous Chapter, one of these same Pharisees, these scribes ask the Lord for a sign. In Chapter 8, verse 11 "... then the Pharisees came and began to argue with him, asking for a sign from heaven to test him." Do you know where this verse falls? The Lord has just given bread and multiplied the bread and fish to 4000 people. You want more signal than that. Multitudes of demoniacs, free, multitudes of sick, healed. Do you want more signal than that? And they ask for signs to tempt him and groaning in their spirit, the word says, "...they groaning in their spirit said why does this generation ask for a sign, truly I tell you that no sign will be given to this generation." I love this, he left him with the word in his mouth, "... and leaving them he got back into the boat and went to the other shore", he left them with the word in his mouth. Why did Jesus do this? Why is he reckless? Why did you treat them this way? Because He knows this generation, brothers. This is the same generation that walked with Moses in the desert. There is no sign from heaven, there is no miracle that can make you believe. They saw, that generation in the desert saw the Lord part the waters and make a highway into the sea. They saw the mightiest army in the world drowning in those same waters in the same afternoon. They saw the Lord Jesus walk ahead of them with a pillar of fire, covered them by night with a pillar of clouds. They saw bread fall from heaven to feed them. They saw the desert, stones in the desert, sprouting water to quench their thirst. They saw signs and still doubted it. Even so they rejected it, even so they died in the desert, so much so that in Hebrews Chapter 4, the writer declares that these signs did not benefit them because they were not accompanied by faith.

Brethren, this afternoon, do you want signs? do you want miracles? they are all around us. Miracles and signs are in this temple now, in the stillness of this message but as I am now looking at this congregation I can indicate, and I am not doing it so they don't feel bad, miracles. Here there are miracles, here in these seats are sitting miracles, signs, wonders. Here on these benches there are lives transformed by the power of God, because I saw them being transformed by the power of God. Here on this bench I see people who entered here on crutches to never walk again and they are not only walking, but jumping and jumping and rejoicing in the presence of God. Here, today, here in this temple I see people locked up in the asylum, and the Lord took them out of there and now with a clear mind he is ministering to multitudes of others. Those are sitting here now. Here I see single mothers who have come to this temple with their lives destroyed, with what was left, their tears and their children and I see, I have seen it, and it is more than one, that is why it is so difficult to point out, because there are many , many who have arrived. Being transformed, the Lord healing their lives, now they have graduated from college and their children are attending college, as Gigi Avila says, and who did it? To your name. Amen. That is happening here, it is all around us, what more signal do you want?

Do you want a sign? Look at the person sitting next to you. There's a miracle sitting next to you. There's an addict who was addicted and broken and drunk and slobbering and falling on the floor and now he's a servant of the living God. That's a miracle. That's a miracle. That's a sign.

They know what the problem is. The problem is that seeing is not believing. Seeing is not believing. Brothers, the Lord blessed us with 5 senses, they say, there are many more, but you know what our senses are. Our senses are merely receptors of electronic stimuli that our brain, which is a computer, analyzes and translates into touching and feeling, and tasting and hearing and seeing. That's all. Our minds, our senses serve merely to analyze. But they do not help us to believe. It is not with our mind that we believe, brothers. The word says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and if you believe in your heart that he rose from the dead, you will be saved, because with your heart, with your heart you believe for justice. With the heart....

Brothers, what more sign do we want. He gets up after 3 days of being dead, leaves his tomb empty and even his enemies did not reproach that there was still a dead man in his grave, 2000 years later. Two thousand years later Jesus is still alive. He is still alive. He continues to live. What more sign do we want? The Kingdom of God is not palpable with the senses, it requires other types of organs. The Lord made us according to his likeness. He made us according to the same programming as the Angels, and that means, brothers, that within us there is the capacity to believe and see and feel the supernatural, which cannot be touched with the hands.

Says the word of God in First Corinthians, Chapter 2, declares the word of God: "... rather as it is written, things that eye has not seen nor ear heard nor has gone into the heart of man are those that God has prepared for those who love him because God revealed them to us by the spirit because the spirit searches everything even the depths of God.” When our spirit is released and unites with the spirit of God we begin to experience the miraculous of the Kingdom of God and we begin to see the invisible. Not believing is a decision and the Lord says that now this generation the world is divided between two categories of people, and the Lord declares it so, one day it will be very clear: here are those who believe, here are those who left to believe. And he declares it in Romans Chapter 1 in the 16th century, the Apostle Paul declares: "because I am not ashamed of the Gospel because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes", to the Jew who is looking for a sign first, and also to the Greek who is looking for logical evidence. The Lord also has salvation for these two. We here who are looking for one another, the Lord offers us the miracle of faith, because in the Gospel the justice of God is revealed by faith and for faith as it is written: "But the just shall live by faith" and by faith. the Lord makes it so clear, He says: “what more evidence can I give you, I love you, what more evidence can I give you. Because the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all impiety and injustice of men who stop the truth with injustice. Because what is known of God is manifest, since God manifested it to him. For the invisible things of Him, His eternal power and Godhead, have been made clearly visible since the creation of the world, being understood by means of the things made, so that they are without excuse.

Brothers, it wasn't until the 20th century that they were able to determine the human genome and count the DNA chromosomes and what has resulted is something incredible. Chemistry, that is what DNA is, it is a chemical experiment, which is communicated in a mathematical way as if it were programmed, as if it were programmed by a computer. Who can tell me that God did not create us? Who can look at the night and see the stars and see how the world goes on and the universe can be created and not believe in a mighty God? For having known God, they did not glorify him as God, they did not thank him, but they were vain in their reasonings and their foolish hearts were darkened, professing themselves to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God, in the likeness of the image of the corruptible man, of birds, of four-footed animals, of reptiles, for which reason God also gave them up to uncleanness. It's terrible, brothers.

In the lusts of their hearts, so that they dishonored their own bodies among themselves, since they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, honoring and giving worship to creatures before the Creator, who is blessed forever , amen. Brothers, that's not the South End. Not that Boston. It is not that the USA. That is not our world. A world that, even as clear as the evidence of God is, decides to reject it. Brothers, our minds can only analyze, but it is with our hearts that we believe. Now, how can we come to believe. What is the Lord indicating? How can we open that filter? How can we open that faucet so that the power of God flows in a clean, powerful and usable way?

Brethren, I suggest a couple of steps that we can take. The same disciples asked the Lord: Lord, increase our faith. That is the first thing we want to clarify. We are not talking about a size of faith, do not rush. You already have all the faith you need to see the power of God within you, in terms of quantities. He says “if your faith were like a mustard seed, you can declare to this mountain, you ask for evil and it obeys you. It is not a matter of amount of faith but exercising that faith, getting used to using the faith that God has given us. Brothers, I suggest this, first let us pray, it is what he says to the disciples: “why could we not rebuke this demon, Lord. Why was it impossible for us? And the Lord tells him: "This kind does not come out except with fasting and prayer." It is more in the oldest manuscripts and in other versions of the Bible, they do not even use the word fasting, although brothers, your fasting is not bad for you. It emphasizes praying, and why praying? Praying, brothers, is a dialogue with God. In praying, the mere fact of praying is an act of faith. You know it. The fact that you get up half an hour before you have to get up and sacrifice 20 minutes, half an hour of sleep and just like a sleepwalker, look for the cup and look for the coffee and be careful that you don't get the poison from the rats and you you put it in the microwave and it turns it on... thank you Lord, thank you Father. I left my bed, I left my wife. It is an act of faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God, because it is necessary for the one who approaches to believe that He is, in other words that He exists. From there, in that room alone with you, there is someone who not only comes, he is already waiting for you in the room, he is already there, he is waiting for his appointment with you, he has miracles at his disposal, he already has your orders for your day, He already knows how to perfect you. And He is sitting there waiting for you, and it is a dialogue. One opens this word, the word begins to transform you, and the word begins to reprove you because He is a rewarder, a rewarder of those who seek him.

You must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek him.

He has your reward for you. And perhaps, your award is not what you were looking for in principle, brothers. And that comes the next step. Step Two: First, pray. Second, start taking steps of faith. Do it. Start taking steps of faith, like what.

A step of faith can be something like that, brothers. At first it is merely synchronizing your life with the word of God. Now, brethren, this is a painful process. If this is a start for you, brothers, praise God. It is never too late to start. This afternoon you can go home and pray but you know what, in those times alone with the Lord, the Lord is going to reveal things to him in the word that are going to hit him, they are going to hurt him. In other words, we are going to confront borders. Borders.... And the Lord can tell us: Honor your mother and your father so that your days may be something on earth. And you get, "But!" and that "but" is the border. You already identified the border.

But, I don't even know my father or I do know my father but he was never a father to me. How is the Lord going to ask me to honor him? Husbands, love your wife. "But, Lord" You've got to be kidding. Father, love my wife. Wives, submit to your husbands. "What, to that......?" How am I going to do it? Just do it. Just do it. Well, sir, you don't feel well. I like the idea, and we'll see each other. We have to clarify because here, I respect you as my God but here, you screwed up, but as you say, as the Apostle Peter says: "As you say", I will ..... in the name of Jesus . And he says to that impossible woman: I love you. And he tells that lover that the Lord tells you over and over again: This is not going to work out. This relationship is dragging you like an anchor to hell. Cut it. This friendship, stay away. That habit, leave it. That addiction, leave it. You know my word. Son, I love you, it is for your own good that I tell you. I made you, I know you, I want your good, I want to use you. In you there is potential because I created you, but it crosses the border. Believe me, let me use you.

A step of faith then can also be moving in the promises of the Lord. Often as we begin to know the word and obey the word we will begin to see promises. The Lord can be something so simple, a word that comes to you one morning, at 6:30 in the morning, you read the verse that says: "...for if he is in Christ, he is a new creature", and one step from Faith can be something that doesn't even seem spiritual. A step of faith can say “Well, if I really am a new creature, if the Lord changed my mind, if the Lord changed my life, then why not spin this health workshop, and be blessed there. Why not take an English class and tame that giant that has ruled my life, that Goliath, what is your Goliath? Brethren, what is the demon that is challenging your faith? What is the wall that the Lord wants you to break down? It may be, in the name of Jesus, Gregory speaks English, Samuel only speaks English, everyone speaks English, in the name of Jesus I am going to speak English, because I want to preach to my English-speaking brothers. I'm going to take a computer class, I'm going to enroll in college. Because? Because I am the son of a King, I am something special, the power of God is in me. Why not? And taking that class is a step of faith. And one says, in the name of Jesus, I turn in faith.

And it is also a step of faith, while you are moving in faith, taking those positive steps in faith, you will begin to feel spiritual impressions, the Lord will invite you to do ridiculous things, that seem ridiculous, impressions, stimuli that the Lord is going to make you do in the name of Jesus, and you know what? You brother do not have to be a pastor or have a title to move in the name of Jesus. In this same Chapter, those that the disciples could not do, they saw the Apostles, John among them, one over there whose name we do not even know, rebuking demons. It looks like a factory, "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus" "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus", we don't even know his name, and Juan tells him: "Sir, we rebuke him because he's not in the band, he doesn't have the title, he didn't go to the seminary, he doesn't know any of this”. "Boy, let them, if the one who is with us, is not against us."

Brethren, we may not know the name of this man, but the Lord does. Perhaps your name is not written here but I can tell you, brothers, every time you take a step of faith, the Lord realizes it. Every time you take a step of faith, there is a celebration in heaven. Every time you take a step of faith, you rise in rank in the Gospel of the Lord, in the Kingdom of God. And a step of faith, brothers, only God knows where it ends. Yesterday

Brother Johnson gave me the privilege to go and visit Brother Ronnie's house. Brother Ronnie is a brother who is here and he is a brother because here he received the Lord as his savior. He is a man who has a mental handicap, he lives independently but he has a mental handicap. Brother Johnson told me that working with him, a man with a mental handicap, elderly, who speaks only English, Brother Johnson a man from Colombia, who spoke little or no English, how was he going to communicate. And he says that he felt from the Lord, greet him every morning with these words: God bless you. And to put it well, he says that he wrote on the wheel of his car, those three words: God bless you. And there he rehearsed it. God bless you, Ronnie. And he says that after a few days, Ronnie greeted him again: God bless you too. Oh, this is going well, this is going well, we understand each other.

Brothers, one step led to another step, one step led to another step, in a quiet, gradual way, without much noise. Here's Ronnie, here's his roommate. Here they bless the Lord, because in the Lord there are no barriers, neither language nor experience.

Brothers, the third suggestion is this: let's unite with people who profess and exercise the faith. If you are here this afternoon, you may have your struggles, you may have your doubts, but you are here and God bless you. God bless you. The Lord knows where you are. The Lord knows that if you are here it is because you believe at a level that there is a powerful God and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him, and He invites your struggles, He invites you to be sincere with Him and say: Lord, you know where i am i think Help my disbelief. Believe.

Let's stand up. You are closer to the power of God than you can imagine. But the God of glory is here. His power flows and the border is your faith. you think. What is your border? What is your border? What is the necessary miracle? Where do you need the touch of a living God? Not a religion, religion is merely the conduit that leads to the throne of God, it is the way, it is the steps, it is the highway, but it is not the destination. Destiny is the throne of God. And I am going to invite you to this: firstly, if you have been here for a long time and have visited us, perhaps you are visiting us for the first time, the Lord invites you to participate in the believing generation, in the generation of faith. You don't need a lot of faith, you don't even need to be here or have visited us before, but if you are willing to say: I believe in God, I need a God and I believe that the Lord is the rewarder of those who seek him, and today I I seek and I need this Jesus and you have never taken that step, you have never said: I belong to Him. I want to receive Jesus as my savior. I invite you to exercise that faith and start taking steps. If that's you, I invite you to raise your hands. If you want to receive, you never have, and you want to make a profession of faith this afternoon, God bless you, God bless you, God bless those hands.

Today the miracle begins. Today. Today. Today his life changes. Today things are different.
