Summary: The word of God is alive and effective, and it can bless our lives with prosperity, health, hope, joy, and more. We are all called to be sowers of the Gospel, spreading the message of Christ's sacrifice and the path to peace with God. The parable of the sower highlights the different types of people who receive the Gospel, with the first type being those who receive it superficially and without understanding its importance. We must be careful listeners and take the Gospel deep into our hearts to ensure that it cannot be snatched away by Satan. The Gospel is a matter of life and death, and we must give it the attention and importance it deserves. By fixing our gaze on Jesus Christ and receiving the Gospel with enthusiasm and zeal, we can ensure an eternal life in peace with God.

I want this word to fall on your heart and to enter the depths of your being. The word of God is alive, it is effective. The word of God reaches our hearts to fill our lives with blessing, prosperity, health, hope, joy, and I wish my brother, my sister, that you listen to me, my friend that you are interested in the things of God May this word bless your life in a very powerful way. Those of you who listened to us in the previous session will remember that we talked about the parable of the sower. We just began to expound this wonderful word and we saw that the Lord Jesus Christ related in a kind of symbolism the story of a sower who goes out and throws his seed, as sowers do.

We said that a sower is every believer, every Christian who has a testimony of having known Jesus Christ in his heart and who wants to share that word of life with others who do not know Jesus. We are all called to be sowers, and the Word says here that the sower goes out to sow and while sowing he threw his seed.

We speak of the seed as the message of salvation, the message of good news that Christ Jesus came into the world, died for us on a cross, to pay the price for our sins and that when we open our hearts to Jesus Christ, believe in Him as the son of God, believe in Him as the bridge between us and God, believe in Him as the reconciler par excellence, believe in Him as the one who makes it possible for us to have peace with God and that He is as He Himself said , the way, the truth and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. By believing this, receiving it in our hearts, we have peace with God.

This is the seed, the precious seed of the Gospel and this is the seed that pastors, preachers, men and women who love Jesus Christ and who share the Gospel daily in different spheres of life continually sow to different human lands. his life.

It says here that when the sower threw his seed, part of this seed fell along the road and the birds came and ate it. This is the first type of person the Lord points out to receive the Gospel. Let us understand that each of these lands in which the seeds fall represent a type of person, a type of heart we could say, or a type of attitude towards the Gospel or a type of behavior that follows the reception, upon receiving the preaching of the Gospel. Gospel. And here the Lord says that part of the seed fell along the road and the birds came and ate it.

Later on, the Lord explains that this type of land is equivalent to when someone hears the word of the Kingdom and does not understand it, but the evil one comes, that is, Satan, and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This, says the Lord, is the one that was sown by the wayside. What kind of person does he represent, the person who when he preaches the gospel is as if the seed were thrown along the road? Personally, I believe that this person is equivalent to the individual who, when he receives the word of the Gospel, receives it in a superficial and flat way and does not give it the attention or importance that this wonderful word of the Gospel deserves.

Many times I have found when I preach the Gospel, that there are people who, like, never dawn on their minds, the importance of what they are hearing. For them the Gospel is a totally secondary or third importance issue. They are so involved in the things of life and are so uninterested in spiritual things, because they simply do not have spiritual depth, that the word of the Gospel bounces off their hearts and minds. For them religion is just something purely casual. It is simply a social issue. Many of these people sometimes even have the appearance of being religious, but in reality, deep down in their hearts, they do not give the importance to the Christian life that it deserves.

The Lord says that that seed fell along the road, and this comparison of the Lord is interesting, that it is a seed that falls along the road and that the birds come and eat it right away. That is to say, the road for me represents the place where people come and go and it is the place where the world is, where there is commerce, where there is entry and exit. The road was not made for the seed to be planted. In general, the seed has to be planted where people do not traffic, where there are no steps that will trample the seeds, but where the seeds will have time to go deep into the earth and have all the freedom they need to grow. the natural growth process.

I think that image of the road is very important because there are people who have such an accelerated mind, they have so many things going through their heads, that when the Gospel comes, they don't stop to consider its importance. They simply see it as nonsense, as something for fanatical people, for religious and pious people, but they don't give it the importance that the Gospel deserves.

I want to tell you, my brother, that you listen to me, my friend that you listen to me, there is nothing more important than the word of God. There is nothing in this world that deserves your attention like the word of God. When you listen to the word of God as you are doing right now, the correct behavior, the correct attitude is to take that word, receive it with enthusiasm, receive it with zeal, with attention, understanding the great importance of what you are receiving.

The Gospel is a matter of life and death. The Gospel is the most important message you can hear. In fact it has to do with matters of eternity. It is not even something of this world, it is much more important than: who are you going to marry? What house are you going to buy? Or what profession have you chosen? Or in which city are you going to live? What friends are you going to have? The matter of Christ Jesus has to do with your eternal destiny. It is the most important thing that you can consider, and therefore you have to stop to listen to the word of the Gospel. You have to ask the Lord to give you wisdom to consider spiritual things deep in your heart.

Don't be like that superficial soil that the seed of the Gospel falls on it and it just drifts, it's completely exposed for other things to come, other concerns, other issues and they are refuted and the Gospel just becomes a one more voice, one more thing, one more merchandise on the path of life. If you have the right attitude when you receive the call of God, you are going to fix your eyes, you are going to open your ears, you are going to put yourself in alert condition, you are going to make sure that that seed of God falls in the depths of your heart, you are going to make sure that no other voice, no other concern in the world and above all Satan, can come and rip that seed out of you. Because the devil is going to want you to do that, that you leave the seed there on the surface of your mind so that he can come and easily pluck it out. When you receive the word of the Gospel, enter it deep in your heart.

Tell the Lord: Lord, I understand that this word is important, I understand that it is a matter of life and death. I am going to pay attention to spiritual things, I am going to fix my gaze on Jesus Christ. You have said that if the son of man is lifted up, all who look carefully towards him will be saved.

I encourage you in the name of Jesus not to be a path where the seed falls and it is easy for the devil to snatch it away, because he wants you to get lost and go to hell for all eternity. Be a careful listener, be a careful listener and take that word deep into your heart and give your life to Jesus Christ. Only then will you ensure that you have an eternal life in peace with God, enjoying the presence of your heavenly Father in the Kingdom of Heaven. May the Lord bless you and may you be a careful recipient of the precious seed of the Gospel today.
