Summary: In this final part of the study of the parable of the sower, the speaker emphasizes the richness of the word of God and the importance of receiving it with reverence, love, and humility. He encourages listeners to be like the good soil that hears, understands, and obeys the word, bearing fruit on different levels. The speaker laments those who underestimate the word of God and miss out on the opportunity to become truly happy. He hopes that this study has been a blessing to listeners and invites them to contact Lion of Juda Ministries for more information.
On this occasion my purpose is to conclude this study about the parable of the sower. I think we will agree that there are some wonderful teachings contained in this short parable. That's what excites me about the word of God is that it is so rich, so multifaceted. One studies it and studies it, one digs into it and seeks and always finds something new, something wonderful that edifies us.
When I began the study of this parable in these radio messages, I really didn't think it would take me so long to expose this parable, but I am amazed at the richness that there is and How can you get so much use out of it? And brothers, this is the word of God, it is a deep and wide sea that the more the holy spirit works in our lives, the more we can get out of it.
I can tell you, my brothers, I have read so many books throughout my life, I have dedicated many years of my life to reading the great works of literature and science and philosophy, and sociology, written by men but I have never found a book so rich, so wonderful, so beautiful as the word of God. It has built my life in so many precious ways. In the word of God I have found advice for all the problems and difficulties of my life. I have learned to delight myself in the word of God.
The one who loves the word of God and receives it, not as the word of man but as a divine word, as a revelation of the creator of the universe who wants to teach and advise us, and guide us along paths of righteousness, the one who greets the word with reverence and with joy, that person will be blessed, that person will walk the paths of life with profit. It will grow, as the psalmist says, like a cedar in Lebanon, planted in the house of Jehovah, they will flourish even in old age, they will bear fruit, they will be vigorous and green, says the word to announce that Jehovah, my strength, is upright and that in him no there is injustice. Certainly the one who receives the word of God in this way, the seed of the Gospel with reverence, with love, with humility and obedience is a truly blessed person because the word of God is alive, she says, and effective and sharper than all Two-edged sword. The word of God when it enters our hearts always does the work for which God sends it, it never returns to Him empty. It can enter to condemn or to save, depending on the reception it receives, but it will always do the work for which God sent it. And for us to be fertile land, to be a receptive land, to be a friendly land, the word of God enters and becomes a source of blessing that bears its fruit in due time.
We walk through the years of life and we will always be blessed we will go from growth to growth. As the word says "the path of the just is like the light of dawn that increases until the day is perfect." If you treasure the word of God, if you receive the seed of God with reverence, with love, with humility, you are going to be a tremendously blessed person.
This parable was designed to foster in us a sense of reverence for God's word. It saddens me to see that there are so many people who will listen to these same messages that I am preaching, they will stop for a minute to listen to something that I am saying but their hand will go back to the button of the radio and they will change the station and leave. they will forget that word of call that they received for a moment from God. They will return to their worries, they will return to their pleasures, they will return to their obsessions and addictions and they will have lost the wonderful opportunity that was offered for a moment in their lives, because they underestimated it, because they did not receive the word of the Lord with reverence and love. Perhaps they lost the only opportunity to become truly happy, they will continue with their struggles, their mistakes, their problems, their difficulties, their troubles, their blind alleys because when God's visitation came to their lives through the word, through Through the seed of the Gospel they did not discern that it was the voice of God, and that is sad. Most of the people as we see here, three of the 4 lands were barren lands but glory to the Lord.
The Lord Jesus Christ says that finally a part fell on good soil and gave fruit some to a hundred, some to sixty and some to thirty by one. The Lord says: the one who was sown on good ground, this is the one who hears and understands the word and bears fruit and produces a hundred to sixty and thirty for one.
My brother, I want to be, and I want you to be like that good land that receives the word of God and understands it. I like that expression "this is the one who hears and understands the word". If you have tuned into these messages and have spent time listening to what has been preached and have spent reflecting on what you have already heard, you are on your way to being good ground.
The Bible says that faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. The first step that you have to take to become a child of God is to listen, to listen, to stop for a moment to meditate on the word of God. Many people do not enter into the life of faith because they do not give the word the opportunity to enter their hearts and begin to do a work. There are people who, because they were not enthusiastic the first time they heard the message, say: I'm not interested, I'm not going to spend more time on it. Or because sometimes they have difficulty entering that level of life of holiness that God wants, they get discouraged and discouraged and say: "This is not for me", instead of dedicating time to the Lord and letting that word do a work. in them. You have to hear the word and then you have to understand it, ask the holy spirit to give you an understanding of the word because by our own mind alone we are not going to understand it.
And finally we have to bear fruit, that is, we have to obey, we have to put into practice what we hear, in this way we can then be children of God and that fruitfulness comes through the presence of the holy spirit within you , when you let Christ enter your heart as Lord and as Savior.
God willing that you be like those who treasure the word of God who hear it, understand it and obey it and bear fruit on different levels. May God bless you and I hope that this parable and this explanation that we have given have been as much a blessing to you as they have been to my own soul. Until next time. Says goodbye to you Roberto Miranda.
