Summary: The story of the woman with the issue of blood highlights the power of God in Jesus Christ. Her faith unleashed the healing power of God, even though it may not have been on Jesus' agenda. The Lord noticed her despite being in a crowded place, emphasizing that he is always aware of the individual worship of each person. The Lord seeks to have personal contact with us, and we should testify about the things God has done in our lives. This story inspires and teaches us about the love and heart of God.

The passage of the woman with the issue of blood shows us the magnitude of the Power of God that is in Jesus Christ. Just with a superficial touch and we could say, clandestine, this woman is healed. At the same moment that she touches there is a discharge of the healing power of God and the woman immediately receives the healing she needs, there was an immediate secretion in her body that sealed that place where the blood was leaking in her system.

We see here this withering intervention of a Jesus that we can say that he did not even have this in mind, of course there is a mystery here about the wisdom, the omniscience of God that is perfectly manifested in Jesus who, in some mysterious way, was not planning heal this woman. We do not know if what the passage is trying to emphasize is that this woman, her faith is what unleashes the Power of God but the fact is that this is definitely not on the Lord's agenda but the woman's faith unleashes.

It is like turning on a switch of a light that does not matter if we do it by paying too much attention or little attention to it, the fact of you make the light spring move makes energy come, and so I believe that many times, faith is something mysterious that if he is present he will unleash the Power and the move of God.

So the flow of this woman's blood stops but there is something interesting here right? This woman perhaps thought to leave anonymously and she felt that the power of God invaded her body and she said: I already got what I wanted and now I'm running away and I'm going home without anyone seeing me, but the Lord notices this, and this is interesting right?

The Lord asks in verse 45, "Who is it that touched me?" He feels the discharge of the power, the shuddering of His body when the power comes out of Him towards her and this is something very beautiful, very mysterious, isn't it?

And then the reaction of the disciples is: well Lord, how do you say who has touched you if we are all touching you? The crowd is attached to You, they push You and they chase You wherever You go, but He says: No, someone touched me because I felt that power has left Me.

Again, this idea is very interesting, isn't it? that although we are in a crowd, the Lord is aware of the movements that come out of us. Sometimes when we are in church with many people around we think that we are like an anonymous mass but we have to understand that God is always aware of the individual worship of each person. God's omniscience is such that He can discern every move of every heart in a human conglomeration.

This woman's faith distinguished her. Just as many times our own faith makes us distinguish ourselves from the multitude of people who are looking for something from God, the quality of our heart, the persistence with which we seek the Lord, the humility that we exercise, the transparency that we have before the Lord , all these things, the nuanced and minute movements of the heart of man, all this God takes into account and makes us outlined and out of the anonymous crowd.

The Lord became aware of her because of the great faith that she had and because she caused power to move within Him and then the Lord seeks to have contact with this woman. I believe that here we see the pastoral heart of Jesus, the fact that He wants to have personal contact with us.

We cannot see Him as a mechanical source of power, but we have to recognize Him as that personal being who loves us, who feels sorry for us, who wants to have a dialogue with us, who wants to know our drama, who wants to know our internal movements. of our heart and of our life. The Lord likes it when we come to Him and speak to Him in detail about our pains, our joys, our dreams.

I love to pray as I converge with the Lord, in a detained, informal way where I speak to him about all things: my dreams, my desires, my pains, my fears, my sins, my struggles and I think He likes it. hear from us even though He already knows about all these things.

But before this woman slipped into her anonymous life, the Lord wanted to give her three dimensions and wanted to know about her, so this woman says that she told her, she declared in front of all the people why she had touched her. What a beautiful testimony, right?

We need to testify and talk about the things that God has done in our lives because this is inspiring to others. If this woman had gone home anonymously, humanity would have missed one of the great expressions of the mercy, power and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, but how the Lord called her to testify of what God had done in her Today we have this beautiful story that inspires us and teaches us many things about love and the Heart of God. May God bless you and until our next meditation.
