Summary: When we hit rock bottom and feel like we can't continue, open arms are waiting for us at the cross. God will receive us no matter our past or circumstances, and will heal our wounds and protect us as long as we stay within His embrace. He does not blame us and will always welcome us back with open arms.

Every day at dusk we died a little, the song of the gate warned us, the smell of alcohol reached us before his presence and my mother, who had no restraint, lashed out at him with insults and assaults. A whole childhood immersed in daily strife until one day ... It was the day my adolescent soul exclaimed - Enough! I can't take it anymore! And my pain exploded into tears.

Have you ever felt like this? Have you been standing on the outside and breaking down on the inside? Have you ever heard your soul scream its pain? If you have felt this, you have hit rock bottom, your strength has run out and you can barely get up to continue ...

But haven't you noticed? Before you there are open arms perennially waiting for you to take refuge in them. You just have to look at the cross. Those arms will receive you dirty, bloody, smelly, full of purulent sores and with an unequaled love they will hug you, wash you, heal your wounds, they will cover you with clean clothes and the best brand and they will protect you as long as you stay within the embrace, if you walk away, you will no longer be within the protected circle, that is why we must hold on and not let go whatever our circumstances.

Not feeling it is not caused by Him, it is our perception without a real foundation. He is always by our side, but he respects us and does not impose himself, he allows us to pry into sometimes dangerous experiences so that we realize that safety is only by his side.

Your past life does not matter to him, resentments, doubts, betrayals, anguish, broken lives, divorces, criminal acts, all vanish in his presence.

Do not blame yourself, He does not do it, He will receive you again every time you come destroyed and repentant, He will put his ring on you and dress you in clean clothes and His angels will say: “This my son was dead, and has revived; it had been lost, and is found ”.
