Summary: We often cry out to God for help in tough situations, but then we try to solve the problem ourselves rather than trusting in Him. We may make alliances with people that go against our values, which can lead us down the wrong path. We should consult God and His Word before entering into any alliances. The narrow path may be difficult, but it leads to salvation. Let's seek God's will and make an unshakable covenant with Him, as His plan for us is eternal.
Have you ever noticed how many times we cry out to God for help in a difficult or insoluble situation and after we surrender to his feet, we get up and begin to plan what we are going to do to solve it. Has it happened to you? It has happened to me and I find myself doing it, I am ashamed of my attitude, but the mistakes will continue, in many ways.
One of the techniques we use is that of pacts or alliances, many times with people and in the wrong direction. And in our foray we meet many people who want to "help" us and we fall.
Beware of those who want to make a covenant with us, let us consult the word of God and God himself in prayer. We must make it clear under which laws the alliance will be, as this can trigger a progressive action that affects our principles and doctrine, which are not negotiable.
But the wide path is tempting. Why take the narrow path and the narrow path? (Matthew 7.14), because it is pleasant to walk on grass, although on that path there are so many who walk that it is difficult to find a treasure, that is why few are those who find Salvation.
Let us seek the will of God that is good, pleasant, and perfect.
God's plan transcends our lives and others will repeat our mistakes, let's not leave a legacy of erratic alliances. Let us show those who succeed us immanent fidelity. God is immutable, that is why we are not consumed (Hebrews 13.8)
May our covenant with Him be unshakable, because He jealously longs for us (James 4.5)
Your covenant with God has the prospect of eternity.
