Summary: Loneliness is the absence of meaningful relationships with the people we would like to have by our side. In today's world, families tend to disintegrate, and emigration separates loved ones. However, God is always available for a constant and vital relationship. Many people believe that God is not interested in relating to them, but this is a mistake. No matter who you are, where you are, or how many mistakes you've made, the path to God is open and available. Repentance is a sure way to restore our relationship with God if it has been damaged. He always has open arms for those who are sorry and want to restore their relationship with Him.

Loneliness is nothing more than the lack of meaningful relationship with the person or people that we would like to have by our side, really communicating with them, expressing our feelings and desires, feeling their affection, their company and availability to talk and understand each other ... .

But another of the bloody realities of life is that sometimes, those people with whom we have a significant relationship, for different reasons, they distance themselves from us. Unlike in ancient times, even the family now tends to disintegrate, creating an affective vacuum that is rarely overcome without a great sense of loss.

We Cubans have been affected, like many other countries, by an emigration that separates families, most of the time definitely. Both those who go to another country in search of a new life, and those who decide to stay, feel the pain of separation. Because a letter, photos, phone calls, emails, or even financial aid and sporadic visits never replace the satisfaction that a constant and close relationship with the people we love produces.

Knowing that in a difficult moment we will not be able to hold hands or hug a loved one or simply sit next to them is painful. Although we try to ignore it wrapped in the maelstrom of life and the struggle for subsistence, the absence of those we love always leaves a void that sometimes not even time can mitigate.

So it is good to know that someone is constantly available. Someone who due to his condition and nature will never feel the need to leave us or go away and who loves us so much that he wants to have a constant and vital relationship with us.

The great mistake of many people is that they believe that God is not interested in relating to them. Some think they have such a remote and private life that He does not want to hear from them. I have heard many people say, "God has forgotten me" or "God cannot forgive me."

If that is your situation, I assure you that you are in serious error. God is simply waiting for you to turn to Him and seek Him. No matter who you are, where you are, or how many roads you have traveled, the path to God is open and available before you.

Too often, even some Christians think that God has forgotten or left them, thinking that their mistakes and sins prevent them from experiencing divine presence and companionship. Let us never forget that repentance is a sure way to restore our relationship with him if for some reason it has been damaged. The psalmist said: A contrite and humbled heart You will not despise, O God (Psalm 51:13). Christians, let's not doubt it, we also often have to repent and ask God for forgiveness. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1: 9). Although it is sometimes very difficult to restore relationships with people we have offended or are offended with, it is not the case with God.

He always has open arms for those who are sorry for him and want to restore their relationship with him.

God bless you and keep you!
