The author concludes by imagining God chiseling our faces and drawing our smiles during the creation of man.
Atheists are, almost by nature, evolutionists; consorts of Darwin and his theory on the evolution of species. It is said that theory is supposition, sometimes speculation, because the results of the research in question have not been validated to verify the hypothesis that such theory supposes. But we already know that. We understand that God created man; So, dear brothers and sisters, congratulations! September 25 was the anniversary of the creation of man by his Creator (the sixth day of creation), a date that corresponds to the first day of the month Tishrei in the year 5775, the Hebrew New Year, a holiday called Rosh Hashanah. .
Because it is a transcendent biblical fact for humanity, I think it is interesting that creationists, you and I, know this, beyond the traditions and universal culture. By the way, the word CULTURE comes from the Hebrew KOL TORA, which means "everything comes from the Torah", that is, from the Bible, in the broadest sense of the word. Interesting, isn't it?
The Bible tells us about the pre-existence of Christ. “In the beginning the Word (the Word) already existed, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was (existed) in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing that was made was made. (Jn 1.1-3). It is important to know and understand that Jesus is the Lord of creation and that his eternity is demonstrated by the fact that he was in the beginning and existed before the beginning of all creation. God is eternal, the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) is eternal.
A strong argument against evolutionists is the fact that Christ claimed pre-existence, that is, his existence before being born as God-man from the womb of Mary. "Jesus said to them: Truly I tell you, that before Abraham was born, I am." (Jn 8.58).
Creationists have the privilege of the Bible that tells us the history of Creation, evolutionists continue to reissue their theory, arguing assumptions with scientific nuances. All creation talks about God, all the Bible talks about Jesus and without Jesus there is no plan of salvation. And you may wonder, what use is all this to me to be a Christian, a collaborator of God in the extension of his Kingdom in a postmodern world? 5775 years ago God created man: “Male and female he created them. He blessed them and called them Adam on the day they were created ”(Gen 5.2). Draw your own conclusions.
Atheists and impious people conspire to attribute creation to a sidereal episode (the Big Bang) or to the theory of Darwin mentioned, but the Scriptures say: “Because since the creation of the world, His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divinity, have been seen clearly, being understood through creation, so that they are without excuse. (Ro 1.20).
There are no excuses for not believing. Paul himself explains it to the Colossians from a Christocentric perspective: “For in Him were all things created, both in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible; whether thrones or dominions or powers or authorities; everything has been created through Him and for Him. And He is (has existed) before all things, and in Him all things remain (Col 1.16-17).
So, let us give glory today to the Lord of Creation, who did not consider being equal with God as something to cling to, but humbled himself and was therefore exalted by the Father to the utmost (Phil. 2). By faith I imagine that 5775 years ago, He was also there chiselling our faces and drawing our smiles, giving the human race the title of "crown" of his creation.
God bless you!
