Summary: As Christians, we should not be anxious about the future but instead trust in God's provision. Jesus calls us to seek first his Kingdom and his justice, which is based on love and integration of the human community. The justice of God is revealed through faith in Jesus Christ and leads to peace. We should not worry because God cares for us and his love is the sign of his Kingdom and justice.

The anxiety that is a consequence of the uncertainty about the future and what will come tomorrow has been the beginning of stumbling blocks for many Christians. God is pleased that the people of his Kingdom, which is the church of Jesus Christ, live in a state of security and trust, not in a state of worry and anguish for tomorrow. God to you He says to take care of His things first, He will take care of yours. "Rather, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness ..." (Mt 6.33). I was always struck by why Jesus spoke of justice in relation to the Kingdom.

Along with his Kingdom (the things that come from God) he invites us to also seek his justice. The prophet Micah 6.8 tells us: “What is good has already been declared to you! You have already been told what the Lord expects of you: Practice justice, love mercy, and humble yourself before your God ”

The apostle John in his first letter is much more conclusive when he says: “Thus we distinguish between the sons of God and the sons of the devil: he who does not practice justice is not a son of God; neither is he who does not love his brother ”(1 Jn 3.10)

For the Christian, justice takes on a spiritual dimension based on love: justice is the "action that seeks the integration of the entire human community in a complex of relationships where love reigns." For the world, justice has other implications.

Now, how has the justice of God been revealed? The apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans says: “In fact, in the gospel the righteousness that comes from God is revealed, which is by faith from beginning to end, just as it is written:“ The just shall live by faith. » (Ro1.17) and later adds "This righteousness of God comes, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all who believe ... without distinction" (Ro 3.2). God's justice is peace. The gospel of the Kingdom is a gospel of peace. The Apostle James says that “the fruit of justice is sown in peace for those who make peace” (James 3.18).

The truth is that God's justice is a sign of his love, which is reached by saving faith in Christ and whose fruit is peace; So why do you worry and worry if you know that the Lord is in control of your life? Free yourself from anxiety. God cares for you. Remember that love is the sign of the kingdom of God and of his justice.

God bless you!
