Imagine a small group of humble men without any kind of study or prominence, or financial resources, or political influence, ignorant and totally normal people, and we could even say in social terms, inferior, in a tiny country like Israel dominated by a power very large, as was the Roman Empire, and the Lord Jesus Christ is telling them: You are going to be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria and in all the earth.

And not only that but in another passage in the Great Commission he told them: "Go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them the things that I have instructed you." If one thinks that this insignificant, tiny group could disciple all nations, go to the whole Earth, preach the Gospel and that this would be fulfilled as it has been fulfilled in the two thousand years that have elapsed since that Word of the Lord was recorded In the Scriptures, that indicates to us the Power of the Word of God, the authenticity of the Word of the Lord. Who would have thought that this group of people could impact the world as the Gospel of Christianity has? the most powerful nations in the world have expressed faith in Jesus Christ. All the nations of the world have been penetrated by Christianity.

In our time, I am preaching from the United States, a nation that, although it is distancing itself from the things of God, for centuries has been a totally Christian nation and still contains tens and tens of millions of people who identify with him. Gospel. In all parts of the world: in Europe, in Asia, Africa, Latin America, Australia, India, the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been proclaimed and that powerful Gospel has governed nations and had an impact on the culture of humanity, on science, on the arts, on the studies of sociology, history, politics, economics.

Incredible how that tiny group of men and women who did not seem to offer much, as First Corinthians says, yet that Word, that assignment of Jesus Christ to disciple the nations, to go all over the world preaching the Gospel was fulfilled at the verbatim, far beyond what those original words of Mark, Matthew, Acts would have suggested.

Why? primarily because it is the Word of God. Second, because precisely that tiny group of people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, received the filling of the Holy Spirit, received the supernatural help of the Power of God, and we know that if God is with us, who is against us?

The only thing a man, a woman, a group, a Church, a denomination need is the support, the Presence of the Holy Spirit in their life. God does not care that he is an uneducated, simple, weak person in the flesh, if that person opens himself to the Power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit that person can do anything as this small group of men and women did. What made the difference, however, was that baptism of the Holy Spirit in their lives, because around then the fire of that Holy Spirit began to run and spread precisely in Judea, in Samaria, in Rome, in Greece, in all the countries of the Middle East, through Europe, and after that through the conquest of the countries of America, the discovery, continued through Latin America, through the missionary movements from the first moment, it kept moving; England, Ireland, China, Japan, all over the world up to our own times, why? because the Presence and Power of the Holy Spirit was with them.

Brothers: what the Church of Jesus Christ needs is not more degrees and theological studies, although I believe that, I have benefited in my life from reading many books and studying, and from going to universities and I believe in that, it is very important , but I assure you that if we do not have the Power, the moving of the Holy Spirit in our lives in our ministries, our services, our evangelistic efforts, no matter how much adornment we have, no matter how much technological resources, no matter how large temples, no matter how much gadgets we have. we have in our services nothing is going to help us.

What supports and enables the Church or a man, a woman is the life of prayer, the life of fasting, the life of praise, the life of holiness, the life of total surrender to the Lord, that arduous, continuous, desperate search , passionate about the Holy Spirit, that's what changes. That is what breaks the yoke, that is what breaks the bonds in us, that is what frees us from obstacles and traps, and the artificial complications that the devil wants to throw our way to bind us and limit us in the way. performance of the work that God has entrusted to us. What enables a servant, a servant of God to do the work, no matter how great the initial limitations are the Presence and moving of the Holy Spirit in his life.

That is why we have to put things first first. That is why the Lord said to them: Do not worry about the issues that if Jerusalem is going to be the capital of the world again, if God is going to return power to the Jews, that does not matter to you. What matters to you is to be filled with the Power of the Holy Spirit so that you will be witnesses to me in all parts of the world.

Christian, son of God, servant of God, I entrust you in the Name of the Lord: fill yourself with the Power of the Holy Spirit, that is what will enable you to break the ties of personal limitations that at this time you are confronting in your life. life, past or family limitations, or your lack of education and it will enable you to be a servant, an effective servant of the Holy Spirit.
