Summary: To bear fruit as a Christian, we must live a life consistent with God's standards and submit to the authority and control of the Holy Spirit. Bearing fruit means multiplying ourselves into another disciple of Christ by testifying to others of his love and life, inviting them to accept Jesus by faith. The Holy Spirit produces the fruit that brings harmony, power, holiness, and splendor to our Christian lives. We must focus on the mission of making disciples and proclaiming the good news of salvation. We have the power of the trinitarian anointing to live a life of testimony.

Bear fruit, bear fruit, live a Christian life consistent with God's standards for his Kingdom. Is not easy; it never will be. God's standards are impossible to meet, however God put his Spirit within us so that, through faith, we try to express the life of Christ in our walk.

The Christian must submit to the authority and control of the Spirit to bear fruit, otherwise he will become a good religious and nothing more. The religious world is full of Bible scholars, teachers, pastors, priests and counselors ... but very few dress in the style of John the Baptist and seek a spiritual Jordan to call the lost to repentance by presenting the living Christ, the King of the Kingdom established 2000 years ago whose final consummation will come on the coming Day of the Lord.

"Bearing fruit" does not mean working more, it is not giving more in the church in multifaceted tasks and exhausting yourself to failure, but multiplying yourself into another disciple of Christ by testifying to others of his love, of his life, of the privilege of walking alongside of a Father so special and a friend as essential as Jesus Christ. Do you want to give proof of the presence of Christ in your life? Look around you and see how many beings you love are without Christ! Hearts, many of them, who are just waiting for someone like you to come up and sow the seed of the gospel.

"Bearing fruit" is not walking from camp to camp, from discipleship to discipleship, filling the intellect and life with emotional experiences, memories, and godly acts. A life that bears spiritual fruit must necessarily be diligent in preaching the word of God, in appropriating the power that only the Spirit gives to witness. Witnessing of Christ is telling others about the Savior of the world, inviting them to abandon sin as a way of life, calling them to repentance by accepting Jesus by faith. "And he commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify with all solemnity that this Jesus is the one that God has appointed as Judge of the living and the dead" (Acts 10:42).

The Word says that "the just shall live by faith." This faith is saving, and acquires supernatural dimensions when the Word of God takes root in the heart and the Holy Spirit empowers us so that new people come to the knowledge of the Lord and become fruits that grow and multiply in the tree of salvation. . In this the Father is glorified.

Only the Holy Spirit produces the fruit that will bring harmony, power, holiness and splendor to your Christian life (Galatians 5: 22,23). That is the work of the Spirit exclusively. But the challenge for every Christian is to produce fruits multiplying in other transformed lives, proclaiming the word of God to others, presenting them with the only solution to overcome impiety and debauchery: Christ Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Witnessing is not only being a living testimony of an exemplary Christian life for others to imitate, but embodying a missionary life, focused on the mission of “making disciples”, of proclaiming the good news of salvation.

My prayer is that the Spirit of God will give you the strength to be a witness for the salvation of other lives. Stop and look at the fields ready for harvest. The fields are those close and everyday territories in which you move: home, work ... etc. You have the power of the Spirit, the authority of the Father, and the presence of Christ in your life. It is a trinitarian anointing that overflows. Live to testify!

God bless you!
