Summary: In this meditation, Pastor Roberto Miranda talks about how the Holy Spirit changes us into another person and enables us to do things we couldn't do before. He advises us to have confidence and act on the opportunities that come our way, even if we don't feel the anointing or see great manifestations of God's power in our lives. He reminds us that first comes moving in faith and believing God, then comes the increasing manifestation of that anointing. He encourages us to live daring and entrepreneurial lives because God prospers and blesses us, especially when we undertake things that are beneficial to His Kingdom.
We were talking about King Saul and how the prophet Samuel gave him a series of instructions about what was going to happen in his life once the Holy Spirit began to move within him, and after that moment of anointing that the prophet Samuel had with Saul.
We saw that Samuel told Saul that there were going to be a series of encounters that he was going to have with people filled with the Holy Spirit, that company of prophets that would come and meet him, he would join them, the Holy Spirit would descend on Saul and as a consequence of that fall of the Holy Spirit on Saul, he would prophesy, in other words he would express the Power of God that was going to manifest within him, and that he would be changed into another man, which is what happens, we have In other words, when a person receives the infusion of the Holy Spirit.
When we receive the Power of the Holy Spirit in our life it is like God changes us, God transforms us and enables us to do things that normally, in our normal capacities, we would do, and as a person is being filled more and more with the Power of the Spirit. Holy Spirit, his life is being changed in a positive way, and this person acquires capacities and endowments that he did not have in the natural that make him a useful instrument in the Hands of God.
And it's interesting, we saw Samuel's advice telling Saul that when this has happened, to do whatever comes his way because Jehovah is with him. And we allude to that confidence that we have to have when we have received the Power of the Holy Spirit, then we have to act with complete confidence even when in the natural we do not feel that confidence, but by faith we have to begin to process and put that Spirit in motion. of God that will be in us as an embryo, as a potentiality that will develop as we use it.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit develop through use as we put them into practice as God gives us opportunities, and that is a very important thing. We said that we must take advantage of the opportunities that come at hand, the things that God is going to put in our way; sometimes small opportunities to witness to someone, to invite someone to the Church, to give a special offering for a project that our Congregation has, to pray for our Pastors and for the progress of the Church in the world.
Small things but as we use them, that very important principle of the Kingdom of God that tells us: "Come good faithful servant, you have been faithful over a little, I will put you over much" that principle then begins to work in our lives and God is expanding the gifts, and the more fruit we bear, the more fruit we can bear, and God as we use His Power will expand it, but it has to be by faith.
If you wait to feel the anointing and to feel anointed, or to see great manifestations of the Power of God in your life before you begin to move by faith, you are putting the chariot before the horse. First comes moving in faith, first comes believing God, first comes moving in the anointing absolutely because God has said that it is within us and then comes the increasing manifestation of that anointing, and greater works in which God will be us. putting to do His Will.
Let us remember what the apostle Paul said to Timothy: "I advise you to fan the fire of God that is already in you through the laying on of my hands." We remember that the apostle Paul also told Timothy: "Because God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, that is to say of shyness, of smallness, of being conservative, of not believing that God is with us, but has given us a spirit of power, love and self-control "that is, of a healthy mind, that is the translation used in English Bibles, a healthy mind instead of self-control, it means a logical mind, a mind that reasons well, a mind that sees things exactly as God wants us to see them.
And therefore that capacity, that very generous and balanced endowment: love, power and a healthy mind, those gifts are balanced within us through the Presence of the Spirit of God and therefore we have to undertake great things, daring things in the Name of the Lord and trusting that the Spirit that He has put in us will move us forward.
That's why Samuel's advice: "Undertake whatever comes your way" because God is with you. How good when we move in the Christian life and in all the events of our natural life, be it the family, be it finances, be it our work, be it the new things that we undertake in life, with that confidence that God is with me. and therefore I can undertake things that normally I would not undertake, because He will take me forward.
The Word says: "Trust your way to the Lord and He will do it." When we love the Lord and put Him in the first place in our lives He supports us, blesses us and that is why we must live daring lives, daring lives, entrepreneurial lives, because when we have the Spirit of God it is the greatest blessing; God prospers us, blesses us, takes us forward, especially when we undertake things that are beneficial to His Kingdom.
God changes us into another person through the infusion of His Spirit and then He tells us: Now go into action and trust that My Spirit is with you, and that I will support you, as He said to Josué: "Look, I command you to strive and be brave, because I am with you wherever you go. " Take on things and everything that steps on the soles of your feet. I have given it into your hand, but remember that you have to be brave and hard. That is the part that falls to us as it was Saul's turn then to undertake new and daring things, because God now supported him in everything he undertook.
God bless you my brothers, Pastor Roberto Miranda speaks to you, it is a privilege for me to always be with you and we will continue with this study about the life filled with the Holy Spirit in our next meditation.
