Summary: When the Holy Spirit falls on us, the spiritual gifts are activated, just as Saul's prophetic gift was activated. This allows us to participate in the supernatural life with others. Receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit results in a change, a transformation in our character, and weaknesses begin to be changed. This was experienced by the first disciples and Peter became a changed man, an effective servant. The only way to experience this change is through encountering people who have the baptism of the Holy Spirit, in an environment that recognizes the power of adoration and praise, and through a supernatural fall and activation of the Power of God within us. This results in a dramatic transformation that allows us to do great things and become a new person.

When the Holy Spirit falls on our life the spiritual gifts are activated, in this case the prophetic gift that allowed Saul to speak in a powerful way, inspired by the Holy Spirit was activated in him. And so in our lives, if we want the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit to be activated in us, there has to be that invasion of the Spirit of God and that activation of the dynamic power of God in our lives.

And that is what then allows us to go from being mere observers of the people who are anointed to participating with them as well, because Saul is no longer just a layman looking at these men who live a supernatural life but he also begins to prophesy. with them and he also becomes a man filled with the Holy Spirit, and with the anointing of God.

It is interesting because this passage is like a trajectory that indicates what happens in the life of the man or the woman who receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It says that: "And you will be changed into another man" First Samuel chapter 10 verse 6, you will be changed into another man.

What happens when a person receives the filling of the Holy Spirit? It is precisely like there is a change, there is a transformation. When the Spirit of the Lord is within us the divine force now begins to manifest in our life. Our character flaws, the weaknesses in us, the gaps, the absences, the structural flaws in our personality begin to be changed.

Many people who have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit testify that it was something that changed their way of being and their way of seeing the Word, of seeing the Christian life, as something new began within them. That change, that being changed into another man, into another woman, was also experienced by the first disciples.

The Bible says that when on the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit fell on Peter and the other apostles, and all those people who were in the upper room, these people were supernaturally changed. We see that those timid, demoralized, cowardly disciples who abandoned Jesus when He was arrested and brought to be tried and crucified, and who fled, and hid like Peter who denied the Lord three times, those same disciples then filled with the Holy Spirit, baptized with the Holy Spirit they were changed, completely transformed and became people full of power.

Pedro, for example, and Juan, in one of their first public meetings, meet the paralytic at the door of La Hermosa and we see the authority with which Pedro ministers to this paralytic, and his famous words: "I have no gold or silver , but what I have I give you in the Name of Jesus. Get up and walk "and this man received that discharge of power that came from Peter and he jumped, and he walked, and he was a great witness to the whole city of Jerusalem.

How interesting that this man, Peter, was changed into a disciple, an effective servant at that time. We also see his first sermon after the baptism of the Holy Spirit when all the people gather around the upper room and listen to these disciples who are testifying with power, and manifesting the prophetic Word of God, and Peter gives that great sermon where he points out that what What is happening here is what the prophet Joel has prophesied previously about the descent of the Holy Spirit. And then we will actually have a chance to study this passage.

And Peter so effectively, so eloquently and so anointed from God gives that preaching Word, that prophetic Word, because what he was doing was actually prophesying under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. What a difference, what a difference between those disciples who are now full of joy, who are now consecrated to the Lord, praying in homes and seeing the Power of God manifest in mighty ways, and bearing witness in so many ways, and giving up their belongings and property. Mr; a community changed into another man, changed by the Presence and baptism, and the move of God in their lives.

The only way we can experience that change in our lives, if we want to break the ties that are tormenting us, if we want to live a powerful life and get out of the quagmire in which we often find ourselves. If we want to come out of material failure, if we want to enter into the full manifestation of the gifts that we know we have within us, we need that coming with power, of the Holy Spirit into our lives as Saul needed it at that time.

Every baptism of the Holy Spirit comes as a product of an encounter with people who already have the baptism of the Holy Spirit that imparts its anointing and its contagion, it comes in the midst of an environment that recognizes the power of adoration and praise, it comes through of a supernatural fall and an activation from within also of the Power of God that is already in our midst through having accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, and then there is that dramatic transformation that allows us to do great things, great feats, and that in reality it will be like we have been changed and constituted in other people by means of that Power of God that will be moving within us.

God bless you and until our next meditation.
