Summary: God wants us to live a life filled with the power of His Spirit. We cannot succeed in our personal endeavors or ministry without the Holy Spirit's energy and power. Living with the Holy Spirit's power will lead to fewer failures, more illumination from the Lord, and renewed strength. This call to live in the power of the Holy Spirit is not new and has always been present in the Old Testament. In Genesis 1, we see the Spirit of God moving over the waters, bringing creativity and order out of chaos. This teaches us that all creativity must come through the Holy Spirit in us. We need the anointing, filling, presence, and movement of the Holy Spirit in our lives and ministries to give birth to the creativity God wants to see in us.

God wants our life to be strengthened and grounded in the Power of His Spirit. God wants our actions, our efforts for the Kingdom, our ministries, our daily lives as parents, as husbands and wives, as workers or professionals, to be based on energy, on power, on the authority that only His Spirit can give.

The Word of the Lord is clear that the children of God cannot move only in our own strength or in our own intelligence but we need something that can only come from above. By ourselves we are lost. The world is too heavy and the forces that are against us are so powerful. The power of sin, the power of the world, the power of darkness is so powerful and so negative that if we try to live that fruitful and energetic life that God wants us to live by ourselves, by our own strength, by our wisdom we will never be able to do anything worthwhile in the Kingdom of God. We can never be successful in our personal endeavors, we can never have an impact on our ministry unless it is with the energy of the Holy Spirit.

The Word of the Lord is very clear on this. That is why it is so important for every Christian to know that this is God's plan first. May we live a life full, overflowing with the Holy Spirit and also that we know how to go to that Spirit of God, how to find access to that power and that energy that God wants to supply us and that He wants to run through us continuously.

Believers who learn to live with the Power of the Holy Spirit will be much less worn out people, they will have fewer failures, they will receive more illumination from the Lord, they will renew their strength more easily, and they will be able to last longer in the ministries and projects they undertake than those who do. that they only live according to a religious energy or simply to a spiritual, religious piety, or any other type of energy that is not the energy of the Holy Spirit.

That is why it is so important brothers that we understand this great truth. God wants us to be filled with the Holy Spirit. God wants us to learn to go again and again to the waters and drink of that power of God.

And we are going to see through these next meditations that this call to live in the Power of the Holy Spirit is not something new that occurs to God only in the Book of Acts or in some other parts of the New Testament, but From the very beginning, in the lives of prophets, kings, and people that God used in the Old Testament, that principle of living and moving and ministering in the Power of the Holy Spirit was always there. What happens is that sometimes in the Old Testament that truth is not as clearly explained or developed as we see it in the New Testament, but it is a truth that God has always wanted His people to know. That to live lives of power and effectiveness, to do great things in the Kingdom of God and to succeed against the powers of darkness that always want to destroy us, and lead us to failure, we need the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

And one of the texts that show the work and importance of the Holy Spirit is found in the same Book of Genesis, in the first chapter, at the very moment of creation where it says that: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God "marked that" and the Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters. "

As we see in this passage, even at the very beginning, before God began the process of creation, His Spirit Himself was already playing a creative role. What this passage from Genesis shows us is that there was a time when everything was empty. There were none of the objects and principles, and things that make up creation as we know it. He says that the face of the earth was empty, there was only desolation. All there was was mere potentiality. But the Spirit of God was moving over that chaos, over that potentiality, those waters that represent the life that is to arise.

In fact scientists know, even those who talk about Darwinism and that creation, rather that nature arises by itself and not through God, say that life began in water. And here it clearly says that the Spirit of the Lord was hovering over the waters. That is, when there is something empty, when there is something chaotic that is mere potentiality in our life, what makes life arise is the Presence of the Holy Spirit.

What we see here is that God was preparing to create, to order, to lay the foundations that all creation that we enjoy today was to be, and we see the Spirit of the Lord moving and preparing to do what had to be done.

I would say that this teaches us that all creativity has to come through the Holy Spirit in us. What turns our emptiness, what turns our potential, what sometimes turns chaos within us, disorder into creativity, into life, into action, into order is the Presence of the Holy Spirit.

In a sense, the Spirit of God, just as it settled on the waters to then begin to create what nature would be, and creation has to also rest on our lives, our ministries, everything that we are and give birth. the creativity that God wants to be given in our life, but for that we need the anointing, the filling, the Presence, the moving of the Holy Spirit in our life and our ministries. Later we will continue with this meditation. May the Lord bless you.
