Summary: Anointed worship can activate the prophetic gift in believers and bring revelation and strategy for evangelism and church development. The failure of the Church to establish the Kingdom of God is often due to a lack of spiritual environment for the manifestation of the Spirit's power. Acts 13 shows how a small session of praise and prayer led to the initiation of the most powerful missionary movement in history. When a regional Church learns to move freely in the flow of the gifts facilitated by worship, its efforts become more effective and the power of God flows freely.

Anointed worship can unleash the flow of the prophetic gift in a group of believers. An environment where the presence of God has been brought into manifestation through worship makes it possible for believers to receive specific intelligence about divine purposes at a given moment in the history of a community. This will allow you to receive revelation and strategy for the conquest of the land.

Efforts to evangelize a community and promote church development always work much more effectively when they flow according to the specific directives of the Holy Spirit.

Much of the failure of the Church to establish the Kingdom of God in our cities is due, precisely, to its inability to provide the necessary spiritual environment in order for the energy of the Spirit to be freely manifested that brings revelation, power, strategy and boldness to the God's people.

In Acts 13 we see how, in a time of fasting and worshiping the Lord, the prophetic word comes and the most powerful missionary movement in all history begins:

1 There were then in the church that was in Antioch, prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simon whose name was Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had grown up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

2 As these ministered to the Lord, and fasting, the Holy Spirit said: Set apart Barnabas and Saul for me for the work to which I have called them.

3 Then, having fasted and prayed, they laid hands on them and sent them away.

We can imagine what that modest praise and intercession session carried out by these anointed servants of God would have been like. Perhaps when it was called, they never imagined the historical results it would have! The truth is that as prayer flowed in the power of the Spirit, and as these anointed servants of God exalted the Lord and proclaimed his lordship, something probably unexpected happened: the Holy Spirit took control of the meeting and issued specific instructions to his Church that they would have unimaginable repercussions at the time.

The obedience of that small group of worshipers and intercessors to the moving of the Holy Spirit led to an event of profound resonance. This revelation arising from a time of ministering to the Lord allowed the missionary plans of the Early Church to enter a stage of acceleration and greater effectiveness.

The missionary ministry of what would become the great Apostle Paul was initiated in that humble session of praise and prayer. The spread of the gospel throughout the Greco-Roman world received its launch in that place that seemed very unpromising. Thus, when a regional Church learns to move freely in the flow of the gifts facilitated by worship, its energies and efforts are put to much more use. The power of God flows freely, and believers are given power and authority to open and close, to tear down and build in the world of the Spirit.
