Summary: The church is a complex being made up of many different members, each with their own unique gifts and personalities. Rather than trying to change or judge others based on human standards, we should embrace and celebrate the diversity within the church, recognizing that God uses us all equally for His glory. Instead of criticizing others, we should focus on removing the beam from our own eye before trying to remove the speck from our brother's eye.
The church is like a being, a being in which the passionate heart of Jesus beats, but like every being it is made up of many cells, very complex, much more than those of a common organism.
The church is the most complex being created by God, where each member feels each emotion differently, each brick is different, but they all form the structure. If we stop to look at the bricks that make up a wall we will realize that they are all different in some way, although they all serve the same purpose.
The church of Christ is built by thousands of different bricks, what should be common to all is that they know what their purpose is and what they were put on the wall for, this can only be understood when we have an intimate connection with the architect who is our God.
Many times we have seen, with pain, how valued brothers with excellent gifts sit for years on benches, simply because they do not meet human standards of perfection. Until when are we going to value others according to our human precepts? If God, who is omnipotent, loves us all in the same way and accepts us as we come to Him.
Who told us that we all have to be the same?
Human beings have different temperaments, some melancholic, others angry, some sanguine and even phlegmatic. But God uses us all equally for His Glory
What would be the work of God without those melancholic brothers who write inspired by what God speaks to them in their times of meditation?
How could we feel stimulated without our sanguine brothers who are always active and exhort us without knowing exhaustion?
Ah! The angry ones who get us out of the way because, even perhaps in a not very adequate way, they tell us what they think and overturn the tables of today's money changers because they cannot bear to see how the name of their God is tarnished. .
And what about the phlegmatic, how much peace they bring to our hearts in times of trial, nothing changes them, nothing moves their floor, because their faith is so great that they know that their feet rest on the Rock.
You do not know the story behind each one, you do not know how they had to make a life to survive, some wandered for a long time without Christ, but today they go hand in hand. Why do we want them to change! What would the world be without them? Or is it that they were not created by the same purposeful hand?
They will never be the same, they will never change their roots, but the love that unites them is infinite, strong, constant. Whenever criticism of a brother comes to your mind, review the word of God and see if his way of being is so condemnable or do what the Lord said: “Hypocrite! First remove the beam from your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye ”Matthew 7.5
