Summary: The author reflects on the issue of authenticity and how many people are in disguise, not showing their true selves. This is especially problematic for Christians, who may present an image that does not match their true selves. The author urges readers to be authentic and not to ask for things with bad intentions. They remind readers that they are the hands of God on Earth and should act accordingly.

Last Saturday we celebrated the first anniversary of our church. It was a beautiful ceremony where brothers of all ages worked. Before presenting the church's Ministry of Elders, I disguised myself as an insane old woman and a brother played the role of my son, everyone laughed and a brother told me: -I have never seen a better accomplished old woman!

The next day, looking at the photos, I was surprised to see that despite the fact that I wanted to pass for a helpless and insane old woman, my face did not authenticate the old age that I wanted to appear, the passage of so many years could not be seen in it, it was just a disguise and not well accomplished.

How many people are in this world in disguise today? Beings devoid of authenticity, caricatures of something that they want to show but that in the end does not fit into the rest of the package.

Even worse when it comes to the children of God. We sell an image that in some cases is not the real one, it is not the one that our heart cries out, it does not lower even the emotions, it only stays at the level of the skin without penetrating the depths of our being.

The apostle James tells us in his epistle (4.2-3): “You covet and have no, therefore you commit murder. They are envious and cannot obtain, that is why they fight and wage war. They do not have, because they do not ask for. They ask and do not receive, because they ask with bad intentions, to spend it on their pleasures "

Think for a moment that a person comes to preach the good news to you, you know his family life, his relationship with his co-workers, the first thing you decode, if he is not a Christian, is that that person is saying with his mouth something that it does not match what you see in your daily life. There is no authenticity in his speech, it sounds like something learned and recited, but it does not feel real, it is disguised and you will wonder, What is the real one? The one who speaks or the one who acts?

We are in a world that collapses every second and the ruins are not only buildings, but souls. Meditate on this and react before it is too late. Remember that you are the hands of God on this earth.
