The author finds God's grace and forgiveness to be the most amazing thing of all. Psalm 78 is recommended reading.

During the rehearsal for the Christmas play, a very concerned brother suggested that I bring a professional friend in the matter to help us. I put my hand on his shoulder and said: "My brother, calm down, remember that God does not choose the qualified, He trains the chosen, where God is, everything works out."

And I am convinced of many things:

  • I am convinced that my God created this entire universe that today is our home and that we enjoy, although many insensibly destroy it.

  • He used a simple, stuttering man to free a people from slavery, it did not take an army to do so.

  • My God split the sea in two so that his people would not be slaughtered as it seemed evident.

  • He sent food from heaven for a hungry multitude, it became a cloud to prevent the sun from burning and a fire to guide and warm the nights. He drew water from the rocks to quench his thirst.

  • Incredibly it allowed a man to be locked up with lions and come out unscathed. Others were put through the fire without receiving burns.

  • He turned back time according to his will.

  • He incarnated in a human being, walked on water, multiplied a miserable meal and turned it into a feast, healed the sick without medicine. He raised the dead against all laws of nature. He gave his life as a sacrifice and ransom for many and took it back.

But if there is something I am totally convinced of, it is that He is right now by my side, but I go further, I have total conviction that He lives in me, that all I am I am because of Him and that I would never have existed if His hand would not have formed me in my mother's womb.

I owe everything I have to him, from my breathing, my heartbeats, my thoughts, my family, my work, nothing would exist without Him, because my life is for Him and His.

He knows everything I need before I know it and I know that life would not be enough for me to narrate his wonders. I am sure that it is the force that moves me. He forgives all my sins, through Him I am saved and I am guaranteed eternal life.

Can there be anything more amazing than my God?
