My god is prophecy

Summary: The prophecy of the birth of the Savior of the world is the most extraordinary in the pre-Christian world. Isaiah broke down the downsides of human chronology with the simple sentence that a child has been born to us, a son has been granted us. The child is the offspring of the root of David, the suffering servant whose blood would fertilize the dry land for the sin of man. A son has been given to all of us as a promise of redemption in favor of a world that walks in darkness. Christmas is not only color and apotheosis, but a symbol of spiritual birth. My prayer is that Emmanuel reigns in the heart of each of his children without the religiosity that we usually impregnate at this time.

The prophecy of the birth of the Savior of the world is the most extraordinary of all those made in the pre-Christian world. Still some theologians and dilettantes debate in their particular councils the certainty or uncertainty of this prophecy with reference to the Messiah who would come, but Jesus himself explained to his disciples “When I was still with you, He said that everything that is written about me in the law of Moses, in the prophets and in the psalms had to be fulfilled ”(Lk 24.44)

Isaiah broke down the downsides of human chronology with this simple sentence. “… A child has been born to us, a son has been granted us” (Is 9.6). God was the supreme prophet who communicated to humanity through Isaiah the arrival of the offspring of the root of David, of the suffering servant whose blood would fertilize the dry land for the sin of man, to sow the seed that would produce fruits of peace in a Kingdom established by the Messiah. The child is the one announced, conceived and brought into the world and would be called Emmanuel (Is 7.15), the incarnation of the omnipotent God, a man of advice and sorrows, of the living word, who would bring not only good news to those who open their hearts him, but also bad news for those who do not recognize his true title of Savior.

A son has been given to all of us as a promise of redemption in favor of a world that walks in darkness, in the darkness of sin and in the stubbornness of a slavery whose yoke refuses to break. A child, sign of new times, image of humility from birth; a son, symbol that there is a paternity that brings us closer to Him as brothers in spiritual becoming and also as children in the eternal perspective.

By the grace of God, we come back to the delivery room that is Christmas and the child strives to be born in every human heart and bring the joy of redemption. God is not very pleased with spiritual caesarean sections, but with natural childbirth and that the joy of a new birth overshadows the pain caused by the sin that we left behind. That is why Christmas is not only color and apotheosis, but a symbol of spiritual birth, of putting ourselves to account with God, the redeemed, of seeking his light those who walk in darkness.

My prayer is that Emmanuel reigns in the heart of each of his children without the religiosity that we usually impregnate at this time; that we offer warmth to the cold, food to the hungry, peace to the un consoled, water of life to those who die of thirst without knowing that the source is so close. In this the world will recognize that we are children of light and that truly Emmanuel, the Lord's anointed, is with us.

God bless you!
