Your presence

The glorious ministry of the Holy Spirit exists to let us know that God's presence in us is real. He dwells in us to permanently accredit the existence of Truth, its omnipresence; it is God himself guarding his children in the daily battle that involves living in a world to which we no longer belong. David knew it and therefore his cry was justified. No one can flee from the presence of God. As much as we try to hide the appearances caused by the biting bite of sin, He is there; His Spirit groans, awaits your repentance, but does not abandon you. “In my confusion I even said: -I have been thrown out of your presence! -But you heard my pleading voice when I asked you to help me” (Ps 31.22)

There is no joy comparable to the experience of feeling the presence of the Lord in the spirit, although at the moment our afflictions and hurts do not seem to make sense. Even when we see a world arranged according to the cunning adventures generated by egotism (me, me, and only me) and the debauchery that is unleashed when man detaches himself from his creator trusting in himself, God is present, He does not know has been. They will be excluded from the glory of his power, but his presence is radical.

Sincere prayer allows us to enjoy the presence of God. “I, Lord, beg you to help me; in the morning I seek your presence in prayer ”(Ps 88.13). The Word of God is also a wonderful act of his presence. When we realize that God is speaking directly to us through his Word, do you not feel his presence in your own emotions and feelings? Do you not feel that flow of the Spirit within you that wants to comfort you, alleviate your sorrows and even reprimand you for some sin that you dared to try to hide from him?

Many look for portentous signs and wonders to prove that He reigns and is present, others bear witness to His presence for their own convenience.

Sometimes we fall into the naivety of giving credit to the presence of God in the lives of others by the successes they have, by appearances: having a good home, a well-paid job, a balanced family, because life seems to smile at them every time. draft. They are artificial patterns. There is no such model. Looks are deceiving. The presence of Christ is made visible in the male and female of God who humbly display the Holy Spirit in their lives; It is the radiance of your face that your brothers of faith notice, it is the testimony of a pious life, it is the hand extended to those who suffer and are in need (without anyone seeing it but God).

Christ lives in you. He doesn't walk away. It is the man - even the Christian - whose sins do not allow him to experience his presence. God does not give accolades to the sinner, but the sinner to God. If you don't feel God's presence in your life, check it out! The Lord is faithful and forgiving and longs for us to live in his presence.

From his testimony in the presence of the Lord, David makes a statement that fills us with confidence and opens a path of expectations “… In your presence there is fullness of joy; delicacies at your right hand forever ”(Ps 16.11)
