Summary: In a world that values speed and instant gratification, Christians must remember that God works in His own time and with perfection. When we find ourselves in despair, we should trust in the Lord and not try to rely on our own strength. We may have strayed from the right path, but God always leads us back to the foot of the Cross. Our rescue squad is the living God, and when He lifts us out of the mud, we should show gratitude and use our transformed lives to bless those around us.

Cuba is not exactly the country where one can gauge the technological advance that currently exists in the world. Even so, everyone wants to have the best and the best is the fastest, today's world moves at breakneck speed and that is much better experienced in the field of computing.

If a computer is slow, they say that it is useless, especially young people, who want to press a key and that the machines respond immediately. In short, waiting is not the stronghold of this world.

Although we are part of the world, Christians are not of this world, we know that our God sometimes does not respond as quickly as we expect, but with the perfection that characterizes him.

Sometimes, we fall into a blind well, from which we do not know how to get out, the psalmist did know, because he was in that muddy bottom "And he made me take me out of the well of despair, out of the muddy mud ..." Ps 40.2

When we hit bottom, despair comes to us, we cannot wait and we begin to try to get out with our own strength and in that desperate movement the only thing we achieve is to sink further.

We do not even realize that if we are in the well it is because we were not walking on the right path, we became disoriented and we chose the wrong path.

But "Blessed is the man who puts his trust in the Lord" (Ps 40.4)

God does not disappoint us, every minute of our life is in His hands and He knows what is best. We are not paralyzed by our insecurity, it makes us take wrong directions, but He, in his great mercy, has shown us only one path and its end always leads to the foot of the Cross.

There is no better rescue squad than the living God, When He lifts us out of the mud, we can only fall to our knees and show permanent gratitude that changes our lifestyle so that we can bless all those around us.
