Summary: Don't wait for the last day to live your life to the fullest. Tomorrow is uncertain, so make the most of today. Consider your relationship with God and don't wait to open your heart to Him. Nobody knows when the end will come, so be vigilant and pray.

We are on vacation with the family, but everything that begins ends, we feel nostalgia for the 'last day' and my daughter-in-law asks if my son is up yet. He is still sleeping and she exclaims: -Not because it's the last day!

It makes me laugh, because it seems that the last day is the only one that matters, those who let the days go by always making plans for tomorrow, see the last day as the goal, but others, live their lives and make each day the last.

Tomorrow is so uncertain that you don't know, today is the day! Today is your day to settle pending accounts, to give the love that you stopped giving, to say the things that you stopped saying, to give away that which you have left postponed for the day ... one day.

Think seriously. What if tomorrow didn't exist? If all the life that we have lived was only one today. Do you think that your existence is so miserable that it is only limited to the "here" and the "now"? “In my Father's house there are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; I go to prepare a place for you ”(John 14.2)

What about Him, the eternal, the one who was, is and will be. Where is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end? ("I am the Alpha and the Omega, beginning and end, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty" Revelation 1.8) Where is the resurrection of the dead? Where is the saving sacrifice of the son? What about the pain of the Father and the joy of sure Salvation? Because it says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in a day of salvation I have helped you. Now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation ”(2 Corinthians 6.2)

The last day could be today. How is your relationship with God? Have you already opened it to the one who knocks at the door? If you are waiting, poor you, because nobody knows the day or the hour, therefore, nobody will tell you: Not even because it is the last day!

“But the end of all things draws near; therefore be sober, and watch in prayer ”(1 Pet 4.7)
