Summary: Dominoes is a popular game in Cuba, but it's not based on luck. As Christians, we know that God is in control and has a plan for us. We have free will and must make good decisions to receive the gift of salvation. We should enjoy the good times and trust God during the bad times, as we never know what the future holds. We must seek God while we still have time, as our time on earth is limited.
If there is something that Cubans in general like, that is the game. The Cuban enjoys any game, but there is one in particular that cannot be missed, especially in the summer, be it in a house on the beach, even in the sand and that game is Dominoes.
It can be played alone or in pairs. One of the characteristics is that as long as you have the token that they put on the table, you cannot pass, they have to put it even if this is against your partner or yourself, because it is a game of luck and luck may be of your side or against you.
The children of God do not believe in luck, we know that our Father is in control of all things and that he always reserves the best for his children.
Our lot is Christ and even so it was not a matter of chance that he came to free us from the yoke of sin, it was all a well-conceived plan, perfect, without loose ends, a plan so that we could all enter through the door through him. opens, the door to eternity and full and abundant life.
Nobody has good or bad luck, human beings have free will, therefore, what we have are the results of good or bad decisions and the consequence of our own foolishness.
The decision to be saved is ours, God chose us from the beginning and we did not know how to value the gift, he sacrificed himself later and we did not know how to appreciate the sacrifice. Even today he continues to give us the opportunity and delay his coming and we do not realize that we are in the end times, we think that we are eternal in this scaffolding where our spirit lives and this is because God put eternity in our soul, this cannot be removed from our hard drive as it is implicit since our creation.
This is the reason why we do not notice how every day more, we have one day less and that the rope that moves the clock of our time here has a limit, which only the craftsman who created us knows.
In Ecclesiastes 7.14, God tells us: “When good times come, enjoy them; but when the bad ones come to you, think that both are the work of God, and that man never knows what he will find later ”.
Man created in the image and likeness of God, look for your maker while the days are good, because the countdown time is approaching and we almost reach zero, when this happens, there will no longer be a way to get back on track, or you run aground, or you arrive at the safe harbor in front of the crystal sea, where God waits for you.
