Summary: God is going to bring a powerful move of the Holy Spirit that will end the spiritual drought in the nations. However, there will be some who doubt and resist this move, just like the prince who questioned Elisha's prophecy. The Church must be careful not to fall into unbelief and resist God's move. There will be two types of churches: one filled with the Holy Spirit and power, and another apostate and incredulous. Individuals must also be obedient to God's call and not doubt His Word. We must prepare ourselves for the coming move of God and be ready to receive it.
Practically overnight we are going to see a powerful move of God and this spiritual drought that we see in the nations, is going to turn into a great rain and a great visitation of the power of God that is going to fall on our societies. < ! - break ->
And it is interesting that the prophet Elisha when he makes this declaration that tomorrow there will be flour and there will be food for everyone there is a prince who reacts in a terribly incredulous way. It says in verse 2 of chapter 7: "A prince on whose arm the King leaned answered the man of God saying: If the Lord now made windows in heaven, would this be so? And he said: behold, you will see it with your eyes but you will not eat of it. "
In other words, this prince of great importance in influence so much so that the King of Israel leaned on his arm, meaning that he played a select and preferential role in the governmental hierarchy because the king himself had a preference for this man, he reacts in a In a very incredulous way, almost like a mockery, she tells him: Well, if God rained food from heaven, would this still be possible? You have to be terribly careful. When God speaks and declares something that we are not found doubting God's Word and resisting what God is declaring.
When this man questions the prophecy of Elisha in this radical way, Elisha, moved by the Holy Spirit, tells him: "Well, you will see it with your eyes but you will not eat of it." In other words, this later is fulfilled in a terrible way and we will see it later when this prince is run over by the people when he leaves the walls to eat the harvest that has come.
But it seems to me that this scene at that moment in which this prince questions the Word of God is representative of authorities who do not believe that the move of God can go to these extremes. And God is telling the Church that she has to be careful not to find herself in a position of unbelief when God is declaring these great things to take place.
I believe that we are in a time when there are going to be two churches: a Church filled with the Holy Spirit provided with the power of God, with prophetic power to receive revelation from God to declare the judgments and powerful movements of God in the nations, blessed and supported by God and another incredulous apostate Church that will doubt these statements and will even find itself resisting God's move and will fall under God's judgment and suffer the consequences of their unbelief.
In these moments God is drawing a dividing line between His faithful Church that moves in the power of the Holy Spirit and a cold, apostate, incredulous Church that God is going to undone and that is going to be abandoned by the power of God and that is going to pay. the terrible price of their unbelief.
And I also believe that for us at the individual level there is a teaching and that is that when God tells us something to our heart and God speaks to us that He wants to bless us, when God calls us to move with faith, to obey Him and to undertake something in His Name not be we found disbelieving and doubting the Word of God. We'd better run with God's wind, rush to obey what God is telling us.
If God is calling you to start studying, to sanctify yourself: do it because God's rain is coming and as in the case of Noah, we have to prepare a great Ark so that many may be saved, even if it seems impossible that it is going to rain. So don't be found yourself in the place of unbelief, God wants you to be in the place of faith. That you purify yourself, that you prepare yourself, that you make sure you are part of that powerful Church, that God is preparing and that you strengthen the foundations of your life so that when God's move comes you will be found ready to receive the rain and run. with God's prophetic move and do what He wants you to do.
May the Lord bless you and in our next segment we will continue with this study.
