My simple life was
Which mundane in this world
Of crazy passions was dragged
Sometimes engulfed by alcohol in deep sleep.
Of nights lost in other people's beds
All of them are the cause of my sorrows.
My life never exceeded alcohol
Not even in drug addiction
Well I knew that down that road
I would be in perdition and,
I would reach sheol sooner
In very bad condition
Ruining my destiny.
Knowing inside of me
What I finally understood
To get closer to God in a moment
And live in peace and joy in your contentment.
Don't stain my hands either
With the blood of my brothers
Not even with the sweat on his brow
I got rich suddenly
Nor have I scammed anyone
Worse to have cheated
I was born poor, I will be poor, I will die poor.
Of the little that I have my hand is extended
To attend to those who ask for it
And if it were necessary to give my life for his life.
I have raised my children
With passion I have educated him
The example I have given them has not been very good
But even so and everything forward I have taken them out.
Now I pay with pain
A little his lack of love.
I just hope with love in the Lord
May they turn their eyes to our redeemer.
Which is what I've never taught them.
I no longer remember other sins
And if I remember long it would be to tell
I only ask the Lord to grant me his forgiveness
And give me your blessing, that by your grace I am saved.
This is my honest and uncompromising testimony
That I always have it with me
To show it to the friend
That is how he asked me
So you can see the time
That all is not lost
That the Lord has saved us
With his blood that he has shed.
And by the grace of God who does not look at religions
Fill us with blessings.
