Summary: God wants us to develop faith by confessing his promises and waiting patiently for them. We should look at God's promises as if they were already a reality and greet them with faith. Even in times of crisis, we should declare God's goodness and faithfulness, even if we do not feel it. The Lord always keeps his promises and those who trust in him will not be ashamed. Keep your eyes on the Lord and have challenging faith.

If God gave us everything immediately whenever we need it, where would faith be? Where would the hope be? God wants us to develop faith by confessing his promises and waiting patiently for them. I love the text of Hebrews 11:13: “According to faith all these died without having received what was promised, but looking at him from afar and believing it, and greeting him and confessing that they were strangers and pilgrims on the land..."

I like that "looking at him from afar" and "believing him and greeting him." That is what we do with the promises of God; Many times we look at them from afar and visualize them, like the child who looks at these sweets intensely through the glass of the store and puts his hand as if he wants to eat it, but there is a glass that prevents him.

And so we look at the promises of God, but we have to see them as if they were already a reality. You don't say hello to anything that you don't think I could interact with, yes or no? we believe in God's promises so much that we salute them. Glory to the Lord.

And it happens that, in the middle of the test, when the devil is telling us, “Look, curse God and die. He told you that he was going to give you this or that and he did not give it to you ”. We respond, like Job:“ No, I know that my redeemer lives ”. Hallelujah! And we confess and salute the coming blessing. And we say by faith, “I know that God is going to get me out of this predicament. God is going to bring me out of my trial and my storm. He promised that I would get to the other shore, and I will get there in the name of Jesus. Because I have my Helper, who although I do not see him, I know that he is there and I feel him with my spirit and I confess it ”.

Many times when we are going through trials, nothing in this world suggests to us that God is truly faithful. In those moments we have to arm ourselves with a challenging faith and declare the blessing that we know is to come and confess positively with our mouth as if it were already a reality.

One of the things that helps us, when we are going through times of crisis is to declare by faith even what we do not believe; even, many times confess what we do not feel, and although everything is telling us — our biology is telling us: “Doubt God; stop praising him because he has not given you anything you expected ”, we declared,“ No, I know that my God is good, my God is faithful, my God fulfills what he promises. My God pulled me out of the hole once and He will do it again ”. Hallelujah!

And you stay true to that position. The Lord always keeps what he promises. "Those who trust him will not be ashamed." The word of the Lord says, "I was young and I have grown old, and I have not seen a righteous man forsaken, nor his descendants that beg for bread."

The Lord will never let you down if you stand firm in his ways and confess that he is good. Keep your eyes on the Lord. Believe and look from afar and salute what God has promised you, and you may be victorious.
