Summary: To be a good athlete, you need discipline and perseverance. Similarly, to be a good Christian, you need to ask for what you can handle and trust God to guide you through difficult situations. He knows what you need, but it's important to be in harmony with your abilities when asking for help. God is the best coach and will help you become a champion.
If you want to be a good athlete, you must have discipline and perseverance. Look at a runner, in order to run with good endurance, he has to practice. Tracks and more race tracks, sweat, tenacity, today the brand is not good, but with the days it will improve until it reaches the time that will make it reach the top and be able to reach the medal.
Do you want to be a good hitter? You cannot imagine the number of balls you will have to hit to achieve it, your arm will get tired and hurt as you cannot imagine, but in the end it will be strengthened and you will be able to achieve the longed-for home run.
If you want to be a major league Christian, you must ask accordingly. If you ask God for patience, He will allow countless difficult situations to come into your life that you did not have, you will wonder what part of your request did God not understand? You will feel like a magnet, you attract all kinds of people with a difficult character to you, things will happen to you that you never imagined and you will cry out for Divine help because you do not realize that you are receiving it!
God is the best coach you can have, He always knows what are the tests that will strengthen you and He is going to put them on you because you asked him to want to be exercised in that area, but you can be sure that when you pass all the tests, you will be a champion. Your biggest opponent is Satan, but not even he will be able to fight you, because your coach is unparalleled, he is unique, he is the best.
If you feel that you are not in a position to compete, then check your expectations, you cannot compete in world championships, you have to settle for local competitions. Do not ask for patience, ask that God remove from you the problems that can lead you to lose your temper. Do not ask God to be faithful, ask him to remove temptations if you think you will not be able to resist them.
Be in harmony with your possibilities when it comes to asking God for what you want to receive, because, even if it seems antagonistic, He always knows what you need, but you must let Him know if you are capable of receiving it.
He will understand you, because he is your Father and although we do not always agree, parents understand our children and feel sorry for them. The more He who is perfect in his love.
