Summary: Patience is important in our relationships with others and in enduring the trials of life. We need to cultivate patience so that we can endure trials and see them as opportunities for growth. Many times when trials come, we become impatient with God, doubt His intervention, and decline in our spirits. We need to ask the Lord for patience and arm ourselves with strength to endure trials and remain in prayer until the trial passes, believing that God has a purpose in every situation. When we patiently wait for Jehovah, He will bring us out of the test and put our feet on a rock.

It is important that we believers develop patience in terms of our relationship with others. That at all times we manifest that quality that is so characteristic of God towards us. God is patient, he says and does not want anyone to get lost, but rather gives time before the coming of His Son so that Most of the people can be saved and is patient with us, just as the father has compassion on his children, Jehovah also has compassion on us.

But I also believe that patience is important with regard to the trials of life. When difficulties come that are made many times and allowed by God to form and forge in us an attitude of patience that we then endure those trials, and that we see them as an opportunity to develop that quality of patience.

So it is interesting that trials can produce patience if we understand their purpose but patience also enables us to endure trials when they come into the Christian life. In other words, patience is also required for tribulations, the trials of life because many times when tribulations and trials come to the Christian life what we do is that we become impatient with God, we stop waiting for the solutions to come. , we begin to deny God, we begin to doubt His intervention and His involvement in our life and we decline in our spirits, we abandon communion with our brothers, we abandon the good purposes that we have done before God and we turn away from faith and then We miss the opportunity to take advantage of those moments for our growth, our Christian progress.

So we have to ask the Lord for patience as well and cultivate patience ourselves so that when the trials of life come we arm ourselves with strength to endure that trial and remain within it praying to the Lord until the trial passes, and then he comes. the time of refreshment, the time of celebration, the time of reaping the fruit of that trial through which we have passed.

It is so important, brothers, that we are long-term runners and that we run, the race of faith says with patience, with lightness that race of faith. In Ephesians chapter 6 the apostle Paul also speaks of putting on the whole armor, putting on the whole armor of God so that when the day of trial comes, what he calls the bad day we can stand up, stand firm.

He says: "Having passed everything, having endured the time of trial, when everything has passed we stand firm." Many times when trials come the only thing we can do is stand firm, believe that God is faithful. Not turning our backs on the enemy and fleeing immediately but keeping ourselves in prayer, waiting until the Lord has fulfilled His purpose and believing that God has a purpose in every situation that we may go through and that if we are faithful in the middle of the test, in In the midst of the tribulation and we carry on like the marathoner running a long-term race the Lord will be faithful to bless and reward us for our patience.

That is why one of my favorite Psalms is Psalm 40 where the writer, the psalmist David says: "I patiently waited for Jehovah and he bowed down to me, and he heard my cry, and he brought me out of the pit of despair, out of the muddy mud, He put my feet on a rock and made my steps straight. " He says: "Then he put a new song in my mouth, praise to our God. Many will see this and fear and trust Jehovah."

When we find ourselves in the crucible of trial, in the well of despair, if we hold on to the Lord and patiently wait for Jehovah's salvation, it will certainly come in the Lord's time. The test will never last longer than we can bear, God will never test us beyond our ability. We are the ones who often doubt our ability but if we believe that God knows how far we can endure and we stand firm in our profession of faith He will bring us out of the test and put our feet on a rock.

So I encourage you to believe this and trust the Lord firmly and that patience will become a powerful quality in our lives. God bless you and until our next meditation.
