Summary: As Christians, we are called to be the "light of the world" and guide others to salvation. However, our divisions and denominations have caused darkness to take hold. We must unite as one body and go out into the world to fulfill the Great Commission. Let's confront our attitudes and cry out to God for guidance.

Whenever someone mentions the word 'lighthouse' to us, the first thing that comes to mind is a light in the midst of absolute darkness, which serves as a guide to orient ourselves even through the thickest fog. The ships would break against the shores many times if the lighthouse did not give them the sense of direction they need.

But what if there were a blackout at the lighthouse? Ships trying to find their way through the darkness. Screams in the midst of despair - we have collided with something, we are going to shipwreck! What would you do in that moment when your life depends only on a miracle? Who would you wish to have by your side? What happened to the lighthouse that took you to safe harbor?

We Christians are called by God in his word "Light of the world": "You are the light of the world; a city set on a hill cannot be hidden. " (Matthew 5.14) Yes, the world is like a ship adrift looking for something to guide them to a safe harbor. We are the beacon that will allow those disoriented lives to find the way to salvation and eternal life. We are the church of Christ here on earth. Our light gives hope and must clearly reflect the image of the living God.

In the book of Acts we find a clear description of what the church should be, we can define this church as a Theoretical Church and it is really the church that Christ conceived, the perfect church. However, when we contemplate the Empirical Church, created by men with all our errors, we feel longing for the ancient paths and we would like to share bread every day in the temples with joy and simplicity of heart. (Acts 2.46)

Whenever I meet a brother by blood, because the blood of Christ unites us, and he asks me what denomination are you from? I tell you, my brothers, it bothers me to a superlative degree and I feel pain to see how we have torn the body of our Lord to pieces, we have sawn it with our vanities in a futile attempt to have on our side a truth that we are not even sure it is. be. The truth is He and that is what gives us light (1 Corinthians 10-17).

Our divisions only cause darkness to take hold. The spiritual darkness today occupies most of the space that we must illuminate and it is because the circuits have been disconnected. Christ Himself said: "If a kingdom is divided against itself, such a kingdom cannot stand, and if a house is divided against itself, such a house cannot stand." Sea 3.24

There is a blackout at the lighthouse. We are losing our way.

Nobody ever said that the church was contained within the walls of a temple, the church has to go out into the world to take lives so that they are not lost. The church belongs to Christ, we are the beacon that guides the world towards Him, but for that we must be united, One body! Let's take up the mandate of the Great Commission. Let's take stock of our attitudes and confront ourselves, let's cry out to God for the mountains to be conquered and place them at his feet.
