Dumby came to our door very early one morning, she was not a year old yet. All the terror in the world was concentrated on her, she trembled and she looked so helpless that I felt sorry, she protected herself between my legs, she had the attitude of someone who had been abused excessively in her short life and is marked by that.

I took it and put it in our patio with the street and without any protection and as if he could understand me I told him: -If when I return from work you are there, you saved yourself- And I left.

At 4:00 pm when I looked out into the courtyard, there she was and crawling like a majá she came to greet me as if thanking me for the hospitality, as if she knew that we had probably saved her from certain death on the streets of this world. Dumby that day won a family. It is our pet, our dog.

Dumby, is a very special being and despite his obvious ugliness, he has managed to occupy a place in the hearts of his owners, he has qualities that are difficult to find, especially in a human being. He is very humble, he does not dare to even look up to look at us. He always has a gesture of thanks, even if we don't do anything to be thankful for. He has tremendous joy that he goes out of his way to show us. Sometimes, we don't have to feed him and he continues to show us his love as if he is full of food.

The most significant thing is when we scold her, she curls up to show us her submission. She is unable to turn against us even if we discipline her and above all, she has not finished the reprimand yet and comes to lick the hand that hit her and lie at our feet as if seeking forgiveness. Sometimes we call her to punish her and even knowing that we are going to do it, she comes, crawling in fear, but she comes, she never resists.

It doesn't matter if her day is good or bad, she decided to love us unconditionally.

It doesn't matter if we love her or not, she cares about loving us.

I think that God deserves such an attitude from us.

God deserves that we love him unconditionally,

God deserves that we trust him,

God deserves that we submit to his will,

God deserves that we try to please him,

God deserves that we be grateful for the blessings with which he showers us,

God deserves that we accept his discipline and acknowledge our mistakes, repenting of having committed them,

God deserves that we be humble, and always give Him glory in all the achievements we have,

God deserves that we crave his company more than food itself and above all ...

God deserves that we recognize him as our Savior and Lord of our lives.
