Summary: God often waits until the last moment to send blessings because He has a greater purpose in our trials. He wants to teach us things, grow us spiritually, and bless those around us with our example of faith and persistence. It's important to ask God what He is trying to teach us and how we can get the most out of the situation. We need to navigate the stormy waters of life with faith and dependence on Him.

Many times God waits until the moment of last strength to send the blessing. And one wonders why does God do that? This woman for example has been with this exhausting, shameful disease for twelve years. You have done everything you can to get out of your situation. Not only has it not gone well, but it has done worse; he has spent all his money, he lives in solitude. And only now is it at that moment that he dares to go to the feet of Jesus.

The Bible is full of narratives where people reach the last minute of their situation and have nothing left to do, and simply have to desperately turn to the Lord. I think for example of the Hebrews in Egypt, when they are leaving Egypt and are facing the Red Sea, there is a sea wall that is in front of them, behind them comes the army of Pharaoh ready to destroy them and Moses desperately cries out to the Lord , and God tells him: hit the sea and the sea will open up, and go dry, right?

God often waits until the last moment, and all that drama of the plagues and Egypt, and the fights between God and Pharaoh. God was carrying out a lesson through that process for people throughout the centuries who would see that drama, a confrontation between the power of God and the power of man. Many times God has purposes in our lives, that He wants to lead us to learn things, not only does He want to respond to our needs immediately that we show, but that He wants to confront us and bring us to the point of learning and growing spiritually.

And if He immediately took us out of a situation, we would very possibly remain childish in our faith. Many times by living a certain life process we learn faith, we learn dependence on Him, humility, persistence, we seek more of Him in prayer, we confront ourselves with areas of our life that need to be removed and exorcised. In other words, there are many things that the Lord wants to do through the trial, and He often keeps things simmering and we are gradually cooking ourselves in our different situations. And we cry out to the Lord: why don't you intervene? And it's because God has a purpose in those situations.

We remember, for example, in the case of the Jews as well, of the Hebrews in Deuteronomy chapter 8 where God tells the Hebrews: I have had them in the desert for forty years, I have tasted them, I gave them manna, simple food during all that time, and I took you through the desert to confront you, to show you that man will not live by bread alone, to show you certain things about your national character that need to be confronted.

We see God again and again delaying His interventions in our lives because He has a greater purpose, be it to bless those around us who are witnessing the struggle we are living and seeing our example of faith, of persistence, of subjection to God to His Will of faith in sustained prayer, and then when God responds to that need people marvel and unbelievers are then moved themselves to believe in that God that they have seen through that process that we have been living.

Many times God has not been interested only in blessing us but in blessing those around us with the processes we are experiencing. I think of the words of the Psalmist where he says: "I patiently waited for Jehovah, and he bowed down to me and heard my cry, and led me out of the pit of despair, out of the muddy mud. He put my feet on a rock and made my steps straight. new song in my mouth. " He says: "Many will see this and fear, and trust in Jehovah."

Many times the testing situations that we are going through are for the purpose of blessing those around us. In addition to blessing ourselves, instructing us, and teaching us things to learn about ourselves when we are experiencing these processes, God also wants to bless those around us. And then at the appropriate moment he takes us out and makes this process that we have lived an inspiration and edification for many around us.

So let's always keep our eyes on not only, ok, God, why aren't you answering? If we don't ask the Lord, Lord, what are You doing through this process that I am living and what are You trying to teach me, and How can I get the most out of this situation that I am living and for which You are putting me.

I hope this is a blessing for your life. The test is going to come into the life of the believer, and we need to know how to navigate those stormy waters when they come into our life. May God bless you and please stay tuned with us because there is so much more we can get out of this wonderful passage. Your brother in Christ, Pastor Roberto Miranda, says goodbye to you.
