Christmas is more than a familiar celebration; it reveals six realities that still shape our lives. It arose amid anguish, yet suffering became an occasion for supernatural revelation and the display of God’s glory.
Whenever we think about Christmas, we think ‘What kind of message am I going to bring? I don’t want to bring something just routine or the like’. It was a time when death was capable in the air. It was a moment of mother’s and father’s mourning the lost of their children.
Christmas does not depend on perfect circumstances, treasured traditions, gifts, or freedom from grief. Its essential truth is Emanuel: God is with us.

Christmas is the invasion of humanity’s darkness by the light of Christ. Isaiah’s promised child appears vulnerable and small, yet he is fully human and divine: the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.
Let’s go to the word of the Lord. The Gospel according to Isaiah. as I read that theme of darkness on the one hand and light and hope on the other. And that is the message of Christmas, the darkness is invaded by the light.
The birth of Jesus fulfills what was foretold in the Law, the Prophets, and the Psalms. Through Isaiah, God announced the coming of the child, Emmanuel, the Savior who brings redemption and peace to a world darkened by sin.
