The value of personal commitment in God's work

We are all called to serve God through a servant's heart and ministry, both to believers and unbelievers. In Nehemiah 9, the people committed themselves to obeying God's law and signed a covenant of commitment. We live under a new covenant of grace through Christ, and our obedience to God's word is key to our commitment to Him.
