New year - new heart

Gilberto Samano
(Audio: Spanish)

SUMMARY: The speaker begins by discussing his prayers for the new year, in which he asks God to help him serve him better and to teach him how to get closer to him. He then reflects on the importance of a new heart, citing Ezekiel 36 and Psalm 51. He believes that many believers carry negative emotions and past issues in their hearts, hindering the Holy Spirit from entering their lives. He emphasizes the importance of cleansing the heart with the word of God and loving God with all of one's heart. He also discusses how small sins such as pride and deceit can contaminate the heart. The speaker encourages listeners to invite the Holy Spirit into their hearts and to make room for God in their lives.

The sermon emphasizes the importance of loving God with all one's heart, confessing sins, and being filled with the Holy Spirit. The pastor encourages the congregation to let go of old routines and customs and to open their hearts to God's love and guidance. He invites those who want a new heart to come forward and surrender to Christ. The sermon concludes with a prayer for new hearts and a fresh anointing from the Holy Spirit.

The speaker is praying for the Holy Spirit to prepare the hearts of the León de Judá congregation to receive new wine. They ask for the presence of God and the power of the Holy Spirit to come upon them and for everyone listening to raise their hands and ask for a new heart. They give thanks and honor to Jesus for saving them and giving them new hearts for the new year.

I want you to pray for me so that God gives us freedom. Say it with me, new year so what? Well tell your brothers, say it, new year new heart. But say it louder, with a smile. New year new heart. I want to tell you that on this last day of the year, like all of us who were here, I was also like every year thanking God for the past year and preparing for the new year.

And in my prayers I asked the Lord to prepare me, to help me and that I knew and know that there is a long road ahead, and I asked God to teach me what I had to do to serve him better and that I could get closer more to him this day 10 of this year, on April 10 I celebrate 30 years of being baptized and 26 years of preaching the word of the Lord. And I was telling him Lord, I want to serve you better and I was saying to the Lord, I want you to teach me what I have to do to be able to get closer to you.
