SUMMARY: When faced with difficult tasks or decisions, we should ask God for wisdom and guidance. He promises to give it abundantly to those who ask in faith. The Holy Spirit is our instructor and will lead us to truth. We should humble ourselves and trust in God's promise to provide us with the light we need.

The first thing I look for when I have a need or a difficult task in my life is to ask for enlightenment: "Lord, give me wisdom; give me the strategy." I believe in a God who speaks, a God who illuminates, who tells us where we have to walk.

We must ask the Lord for wisdom. The Apostle James says in James chapter 1, "If anyone lacks wisdom" - What should he do? - "Ask God, who gives abundantly, and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
