A just God gives punishment and reward

Dr. Roberto Miranda
(Audio: Spanish)

SUMMARY: God does not want the wicked to die, but rather to live and turn from their ways. This is shown in Ezekiel 33:11 and 2 Peter 3:9. God is a God of law and justice, and there are consequences for violating his laws. However, God desires reconciliation with humanity more than ever, despite our inveterate rebellion. The church has been called to warn people about God's love and to help them discern good from evil. False doctrines and the devil can blind people, but God's mercy and forgiveness are always available.

The church has a responsibility to warn people about the reality of hell and the consequences of disobedience. God is a God of justice and judgment, and every system of justice has punishment and reward. The only way to enter God's kingdom is through faith in Jesus Christ, who paid the price for our impurity. Hell is a place of terrible suffering, and God does not want anyone to go there. The church is called to be a watchman and warn people of the consequences of their actions. If the church fails to do so, God will hold them responsible for the punishment of those individuals. The most important thing we can do is to bring souls to the knowledge of Christ and save them from eternal damnation.

The speaker emphasizes the importance of saving souls from eternal damnation and how bringing someone to the knowledge of Christ is the most valuable thing a person can do. He encourages listeners to share the good news of salvation with others and reminds them that God loves even those who may feel rejected by the church. The speaker also stresses the urgency of preaching the gospel as the day of judgment is approaching. He invites those who have not made a decision to accept Christ to do so and assures them that their eternal future is now secure. The speaker prays for those who have accepted Christ and encourages them to remain faithful to their decision.

The speaker congratulates the young people for accepting Jesus as their savior and reminds them that God will always be with them. He encourages them to walk with God and continue to learn from Him. The speaker blesses them and offers support through the church and discipleship classes.

Ezekiel, chapter 33, verse 11, says the word: "the Lord tell them... say everyone tell them (tell them) tell them I live, says the Lord Jehovah, that I do not want the death of the wicked, .... says the Lord Jehovah that I do not I want the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live."

There you have a powerful and profound expression of the heart of God, which reveals to us the love of the Father for his creature. God does not want the impious, the sinner, the man to die, but quite the opposite, he wants them to live, he wants them to prosper, he wants them to be saved.
